Lanterna do Céu Heritage 2026 no Rock n' River Chiang Mai

This is a dream come true experience! So magical. There might have been some hassle distributing card IDs at the entrance, but they still provided good service and patiently assisted everyone. Overall, a great event!

It was superb, they have a pick up and drop off, the experience was very memorable even though it was raining.. The food that was serve are all delicious

So, entweder hat sich die Veranstaltung im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr MASSIV verbessert, oder die Leute, die sich beschwert haben, waren heimliche Snobs. Die diesjährige Veranstaltung war wirklich großartig! Sie war geordnet, sicher, geräumig und sehr atmosphärisch. Die Anweisungen zum Freilassen der Laternen wurden von den Moderatoren sehr klar gegeben, alle versehentlichen Verbrennungen wurden schnell vom Team gelöscht und es waren immer Ersthelfer in der Nähe. Es gab viele kostenlose Aktivitäten und Aufführungen vor dem großen Start, Wasser wurde kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt und man konnte herumlaufen und lokales Kunsthandwerk kaufen. Das Einzige, was ich hier kritisieren würde, ist das Fehlen von pflanzlichen oder sogar vegetarischen Speisen am Buffet. Es gab einige Reisgerichte kostenlos, bevor das Buffet offiziell geöffnet war, aber im Vergleich zur riesigen Menge an Fleisch war es etwas mangelhaft. Die Abholung und der Rücktransport erfolgten geordnet und schnell. Die Tickets fühlten sich für das, was wir bekamen, ein kleines bisschen überteuert an, aber nicht viel. Alles in allem ein 9/10 Erlebnis.

Although this isn't the largest Chiang Mai Lantern Festival, precisely because it's not the biggest, both transportation and food arrangements are very well thought out. The organizers have arranged sufficient transportation to manage the flow of visitors, and there are various food options available with ample supply, so there's no need to rush for food. However, of course, the sight of the lanterns being released is not as spectacular.

My sister and I had high expectations as it was our first time, but all that excitement was in vain. Upon arriving at the venue, no one guided us on where to go or what to do; it was complete chaos. There were so many people, and we didn't even get proper seats despite booking VIP tickets. We loved the lantern show, but we didn't get to experience Loy Krathong. After the show, we didn't know where to find our bus because no one told us where they parked it, and we ended up having to take a different bus. Overall, it was okay, at least we got to see one show, which was the lantern show.

Pagamos el paquete platino que incluía la recogida en nuestro hotel y no aparecieron. Esperamos más de 3 horas y finalmente nos enviaron un taxi para llevarnos los 90 minutos hasta allí. Llegamos 20 minutos antes de la liberación de linternas, pero no pudimos comer, beber, hacer ninguna de las manualidades, ni ver nada del lugar, que es la mitad de lo que pagamos más de $200 por persona para hacer. En general, fue una experiencia muy decepcionante, ya que esto es algo que se hace una vez en la vida y no cumplieron. Se niegan a emitir un reembolso parcial, ya que obtuvimos la mitad de lo que pagamos. Llovió, así que estaba súper embarrado (no es culpa suya, solo una advertencia sobre lo que usas). Tenían sillas de plástico colocadas en el campo alrededor de un escenario y el espectáculo comenzó a las 8 p.m. y la liberación de linternas comenzó alrededor de las 8:45 p.m. Tan pronto como todas las linternas se apagan (3 por persona y debes tener cuidado porque muchas se incendian), se te indica que salgas del lugar (alrededor de las 9:45) y luego es un caos tratar de encontrar tu transporte y salir de allí.

I loved everything, super organized, they give you a bag, a raincoat, a keychain, everything super nice.

The Sky Lantern Festival is definitely worth a visit; the atmosphere is wonderful, and the sky lanterns combined with fireworks are incredibly moving! However, the dinner arrangements were a bit chaotic, with too many people collecting food at once and queues forming haphazardly. It would have been great if staff could have helped organize the order.

Terrible organization to get to Dutch Farm. We couldn't find VIP food, and where there was some, they sent us elsewhere and didn't even know where to tell us to go. The welcome snack was very simple and basic. There were plenty of delicious drinks. In the end, we were able to have a moderately good dinner, and the transfer back to Chiang Mai was very quick and pleasant. The only thing missing was organization from the venue and for their staff to know where to send us for our food.
