This was a phenomenal experience! Our guide was extremely patient, experienced, and good-natured. The equipment was clean and well-maintained. It is best if someone in your group is able to speak Chinese, and make sure you come on your own motorcycle, as you all have to drive around 2km to the diving site (Da bai sha) 大白沙. Even though it was only my one friend and I, Cape of Good Hope Snorkeling laid out the red carpet. We we taken out to the dive site, and slow walked into the water. The day was overcast, and the surface looked gray and uninviting, but the moment we put on our masks and looked beneath the surface, it was like we were in "Nemo"!! Our guide towed us along with life rings, and life jackets, so even if you can't swim, this is a great experience for you. For those who can swim, we were allowed to take off our life vests, and dive down to the coral and the fish! Our guide also gave us some bread, which the tropical fish loved! Best of all, our guide took photos of us on a GoPro the whole time! She would help us pose, set up the shot, and find interesting animals to photograph. My family says this is even better than the picutres they got in Haiwaii! When we returned to the diving center, our guide plugged the GoPro into my phone, and the images downloaded right away. Great experience, great price, and a wonderful guide. I hope you enjoy snorkeling as much as we did!

The location is easy to find, and the diving instructors are all very kind. They explain the diving methods in detail, which helps us feel less nervous, and there are many photos available to take home.
