If you're renting a cheongsam for your own photoshoot, I think this experience should be quite good! If you opt for makeup and photography services, it's advisable to discuss your makeup and photography requirements with the shop beforehand, as this will be better. Regarding makeup, there's a chance it might be applied a bit heavily. Additionally, I suggest the shop gives customers more freedom to pose in ways that feel natural and comfortable to them. If the photographer constantly asks customers to lift their heads and look into the distance, it feels like it might negatively affect facial contours in the photos. Overall impression: The shop staff are very friendly and wholeheartedly dedicated to helping customers.

What a wonderful experience! Wearing the Qipao instantly made me feel so elegant. The owner is very kind. The bags, fans, earrings, oil-paper umbrellas, and shoes I'm holding are all included in the price. Hair and makeup cost extra.

The shop is located on Dihua Street, about a 10-minute walk straight down Tacheng Street from Exit 3 of Beimen MRT Station. I hadn't originally booked a photographer, but after seeing the complete outfit, I felt a strong need for a photoshoot to commemorate the experience. 😂

Cheongsam sizes for women are comprehensive, but if your size is on the larger or smaller side, there will be fewer pattern choices (S, M, L sizes will have more options). It's highly recommended to pair it with an updo; it makes a huge difference. For makeup, if you don't want it too heavy, you might consider doing it yourself. Accessories are complete, including shoes, hair accessories, clip-on earrings, clutches, and folding fans. The proprietress is very professional and will guide you on poses. Highly recommended!
