With our wedding happening during COVID, we didn’t have the opportunity to visit Taiwan to celebrate this side of my heritage. So we had the idea of having a qipao photoshoot during our upcoming visit in almost a pre-engagement style that was popular in the 80s. This dynamic duo were an absolute delight to work with. From reaching out early to brainstorming inspiration, leading and guiding us expertly through spots and poses, they made the whole experience so much fun and we were stunned at the quality of the photos when they came through. I would highly recommend anyone thinking about it - to just go right ahead and book!

This experience was the highlight of my short trip to Taipei! I was a little hesitant/ awkward upon arrival since I was solo but all that melts away when you meet the team. They're super warm and easy to talk to and for me I wanted a casual, natural shoot just vibing in the area - so after hair&makeup (addon - you can message them to arrange! the artist I got was so sweet as well) we had the loveliest time exploring Dadaocheng and goofing around as they found unique places and concepts for me to try. They also provide clear prompts on what to do so it wasn't stressful at all! The end pics are each colourgraded to the unique moods, which is in my experience unusual and really makes it feel personalised and so thoughtful. I would give a 10-star review if I could! We really enjoyed and had a lot of fun during our session :) There was an indoor part and an outdoor portion later. All the while, we got a lot of guidance from both of them! Thanks so much!!! Photos were also ready earlier than expected and so, so good!

My wife and I were vacationing in Taipei and besides site seeing and enjoying great food, we wanted something memorable and decided to get professional photoshoot in Chinese costumes. She found https://shashinka.boostime.me/ and immediately loved their work.  Kai and Cha Cha are an awesome husband wife team.  Besides taking photos at their studio, Kai would take us  to multiple locations with backdrops that matched our costumes, he took hundreds of photos while Cha Cha would advise us on poses, expressions and most important of all, she brought so much fun to the experience that we were relaxed and we looked natural in many of our photos.  We love the photos and we left Taipei with a very memorable experience, thank to Kai and Cha Cha. We highly recommend their service.
