Our tour guide Jimmy was really friendly and he speaks good English too. He's really knowledgeable about not just the history of the Forbidden City, but also China's history. We really enjoyed the tour, Jimmy made it so much more insightful and interesting as compared to if we were to go on our own. He also helps us to take really nice photos too!~ Highly recommend Jimmy as a guide.

What a fantastic experience! Andy, our guide, looked after us so well from the time he met us at our hotel and throughout the tour. Great English and knowledge of the Forbidden City which made everything we saw so much more interesting and meaningful. He also adapted the tour to our needs (we skipped Tiananmen Sq because of the crowds). Mention also goes to the driver Zhen who drove us from the hotel to the Forbidden City in a spotless vehicle prepared with water and snacks. Highly recommend this tour for a great private experience.

We have two kids (5 & 8 yo) with us and decided to book a 4 hour tour to Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. Andy was our tour guide today. He was personable and informative. He met us at our hotel and gave us a run down and accurate expectations prior our tour. He predicted the wait into Tiananmen would be 1 to 2 hours even with reservation and kindly advised to skip tiananmen to max out our time in the Forbidden City and in Jingshan park. We decided to wait it out for Tiananmen and the queue was about 1 hour 15 mins as Andy said. Andy was eager to show us as much as he could but too bad the little feet wouldn't catch up due to the crowds and heat. Regardless, we had a great time and Andy definitely made the experience much smoother and more pleasant for our family. Thank you!

I had Jack as my guide. His English is very good and he was informative, polite and caring, always reminding me to watch out for potential holes on the floor as we walked through the Forbidden City. The only thing I would say to improve is to organize more breaks as after all it is a 6-hour tour. Otherwise, it's definitely worth doing, as walking through old buildings and areas without a guide would be less interesting.

Tony was a great guide with very thorough explanations. He was very knowledgeable about the history and shared it through clear and engaging storytelling. I would highly recommend him.

Wir schafften es, gut voranzukommen und sahen viele Dinge, während wir uns von den großen Reisegruppen fernhielten. Der Reiseführer (Vivian) gab uns viele Informationen und beantwortete alle unsere Fragen, sogar indem sie sich bei der örtlichen Sicherheit erkundigte, als wir die einzige Frage stellten, auf die sie nicht sofort eine Antwort hatte (über die Technik, die für ein bestimmtes Möbelstück im Bereich der Ming-Dynastie-Möbel verwendet wurde, wirklich eine Nischenfrage, um ehrlich zu sein)! Sie half uns auch bei der Planung, wie wir zu unserem nächsten geplanten Besuch gelangen würden, und arrangierte, dass das Auto uns an einer geeigneten U-Bahn-Station absetzte.
