Es ist eine sehr lange Tagestour, aber es lohnt sich. Sie starten pünktlich und die fast 3-stündige Fahrt war entspannt, da sich zwei Fahrer abwechselten, wobei der Wechsel sehr schnell ging und nur etwa eine Minute dauerte. Abgesehen von der kurzen Stadtführung durch Venedig arrangierte unser Reiseleiter auch eine 25-minütige Gondelfahrt (optional) gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr für uns. Die Transfers sind ebenfalls gut organisiert mit angemessenen Toilettenpausen. Es ist definitiv eine gute Möglichkeit, Venedig bei einem engen Zeitplan zu sehen oder wenn Sie nicht über Nacht (oder zwei Nächte) dort bleiben möchten.

On the other hand, due to the nature of a day trip, the time spent at the destination is quite limited. There wasn't much leisure time to leisurely stroll down back alleys, relax at a café, or thoroughly enjoy art museums.

You need to arrive at the meeting point quite early to wait. There were tour buses for other groups, so you had to look carefully. Each group had about 30 people. The bus ride was quite long, but there were rest stops along the way where you could shop and use the restroom. The tour guide on the bus introduced things in English and Spanish, but didn't speak for too long to allow everyone to rest. After getting off the bus, we had to transfer to a boat to enter Venice city. The tour guide on the boat introduced the major buildings. Once in the city, the guide separated the English and Spanish groups and led us to introduce a few locations. After about half an hour, we had free time. We stayed on the island for about 3 to 4 hours, and had to gather to leave at 15:50. The guide repeatedly emphasized being on time and reiterated the meeting point many times, because if we were late, he would not wait, as this was not a private tour. Some people opted for the gondola ride (30 euros) at their own expense, which required them to gather at 14:10. If you needed lunch, there was simply no time to explore the city. Overall, the itinerary was quite satisfactory, except for the somewhat long bus ride, but there was no alternative. I had previously seen that the train also takes 2.5 hours, and the round-trip price was close to 1000 HKD, and there was no one to explain things, so I highly recommend this tour. If I have the chance to visit Milan again, I might join the Cinque Terre tour.

Pubblico questo mentre torno a Milano, bloccato in questo orribile ingorgo autostradale. Sarei felice di arrivare prima delle 22:00, rendendo questa una gita di 15 ore! Nel complesso è andata bene ma piuttosto di fretta. Sarebbe meglio visitarla da soli e pernottare lì per esplorare di più. Il giro in gondola è stato breve ma piacevole, dato che il nostro gondoliere era divertente. La guida dovrebbe essere più interattiva e amichevole. Sembrava troppo severa e distaccata.

Overall, it was a good experience to be in Venice. It was unlucky that it was a rainy day, so the tour guide couldn't arrange the boat ride for us. We had to get it on our own!

We booked a day trip from Milan to Venice and overall it was a very good experience. The tour was well organised and easy to follow, making it a convenient way to see Venice within a limited timeframe. As expected with a day trip, time in Venice was quite limited, so the visit felt a bit rushed. However, we still managed to explore key areas and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the city. There was also some free time to browse and shop in the small traditional shop houses, which added a nice local touch to the experience. It is advisable to carry cash when visiting, as some of the smaller shops may not accept card payments. Overall, a worthwhile and enjoyable tour, especially for travellers short on time.

Well, Venice is very nice. However, if you're not good in Italian or Spanish, be prepared to struggle to understand the English articulated by the tour guide. I felt that the instructions given by the tour guide could have been better, or at least he could have provided us with his WhatsApp or any social media number to allow us to contact him if we got lost during one of the multiple meet-up points. There are several points throughout the whole trip; however, none of them are clear. We ended up missing the trip and not being able to board the ferry back to Milan. We had to find our own transport back. Most of the time spent on the trip was on the bus ride from Milan to Venice, which I felt wasn't really very comfortable.

Thanks to our guide Monicca, we were able to enjoy a comfortable and wonderful trip! The colorful pastel buildings can only be seen by touring Burano Island, and you won't see those colored buildings on this itinerary. Nevertheless, Venice was a beautiful city, and the gondola ride was also excellent. Thank you, guide Monicca!
