Tour de um dia por Sintra, Cascais e Palácio da Pena saindo de Lisboa

Carlos, nuestro guía, fue divertido, sociable y encantador. Nos dio excelentes recomendaciones de comida en Cascais. Tuvimos menos tiempo en Sintra para explorar porque la fila para los pasteles era muy larga. Estoril solo lo pasamos de largo y no lo visitamos.

Joao was a very good guide. He was fun and very approachable. Redeeming tickets was fairly easy; you just have to show the QR code. It was raining a bit, and the meeting point is not covered, so we were all in the open while they checked the tickets. The bus left on time. Cascais was rainy, so we only explored a bit and stayed in a recommended ice cream shop (you must try the Cascais flavor!). Sintra was a bit nicer since it was sunnier, and Joao also recommended places to eat. Cherry liquor is a must! Pena Palace was interesting, but a bit old already. Lots of people were queuing up, though. The highlight of the tour is Cabo da Roca! The end of the world.

While Sintra is cheaper to visit from Lisbon using public transportation, I booked a day tour through Klook due to the transfer times needed to visit Pena Palace, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais, as well as the long queues at tourist attractions. At first, I thought it was a bit expensive, but after experiencing the enormous waiting lines at Pena Palace and the kind guide who safely and quickly led us despite the bad weather, I realized, 'Ah! This is why a guided tour is necessary,' and I was very satisfied. I especially recommend a guided tour if you search the weather and find it's even slightly cloudy. The driver's manners were excellent, carefully navigating the narrow alleyways, and other tour groups were also punctual, with plenty of free time given, making the trip even more comfortable.

There were multiple groups gathering at the same time, and check-in started at 20 minutes past the hour. The staff were very efficient and directed us to the correct bus. This one-day tour covered all the attractions in the Lisbon suburbs, allowing ample time without feeling rushed. The last stop was Pena Palace, and this tour did not include tickets for the interior of the palace. Some other members of the group had tickets to visit the palace interior, and the guide gave them about 50 minutes to explore. Those without tickets took photos and rested in the park.

Thanks to the guide's kind explanations and consideration, I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Sintra! In Sintra, they even shared a list of great restaurants, so we had a wonderful lunch. Also, traveling in a large bus with plenty of seats was very comfortable.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy tours from Klook. Lots of issues to redeem any tour or multi days passes. Klook system is inferior and leads to lots of issues at tour or multi days pass redemption. I recommend that everyone purchase tours from Viator instead. The Tour operator and tour guides are exceptional for this Sintra tour (they are not affiliated with Klook). Tour was lovely and the tour guides were knowledgeable and passionate about depicting the history of the 3 locations we visited. However, due to Klook inferior system, I had lots of issues with my bookings and activation dates. Will stop using Klookand steer all my travel business towards Viator.

The tour guide operates with small groups, ensuring every member receives excellent care. The itinerary includes an admission ticket to Pena Palace, which is highly recommended! Additionally, we will visit a seaside town where there's a highly recommended ice cream shop (the guide usually introduces it, or you'll see a queue on the way to the beach).

The entire process was very comfortable, and the vehicle was a very cozy van. The tour guide was extremely friendly, and there was ample time for taking photos and eating.
