Avaliações
Here are the points I liked: 1. There's a restroom (very important, especially for those who need to use it frequently; it's best to go before putting on the hanbok and before heading out. The shop was very kind and allowed us to return to use it mid-way through our outing. Gyeongbokgung Palace actually has restrooms, and they are clearly marked, but sometimes you can still get a bit lost inside. If you're worried, I recommend marking the restroom locations on a map beforehand). 2. Easy to find (just use Naver Map to navigate directly; you can also browse shops on the way from Anguk Station). 3. The clothes are in good condition (the skirts are very voluminous, with no holes or strange smells). 4. There are about 5 free hairstyles (from what I remember) (all the hairstyles in the pictures below are free. Additional charges, up to 10,000 Korean Won, are only for more elaborate styles like the 'medical lady' hairstyle or advanced updos). I purchased the most expensive full-day level. Upon arrival, I could choose from 40,000 Won skirts, which are basically solid-colored or gradient-colored voluminous skirts, with a single layer plus an overlay. Because the skirt essentially has two layers, the steel hoop of your petticoat will still be visible. If you mind this a lot, you'll need to pay extra for higher-tier skirts. There are options for 60,000 Won and 80,000 Won, which you can upgrade to (the 60,000 Won options include tiered skirts and long tops that cover the stomach, as well as some patterned skirts. The 80,000 Won options have gold trim and some hot-stamped details; the quality is really good, but they are probably better for autumn/winter wear and also come with stomach-covering tops). If you're not planning to take photos all day, 4 hours is quite enough. In summer, it's definitely enough, as you won't last much longer. Even though I'm quite heat-tolerant and it was an overcast day, I only lasted about 5 hours before I couldn't take it anymore. We arrived at 11 AM, but we were still able to pick out clothes. However, going earlier might offer more choices for tops (?). Everyone should consider their timing. Regarding photography, as stated on the price list, you can also inquire directly at the shop. However, it was an overcast day, so we didn't add on a photography package, so I don't know how the photos would have turned out. Many people at Gyeongbokgung Palace hire photographers. If the weather is good and you're in a good mood, you can find one; they are very good at directing poses and have their own camera angles, so you don't have to find spots or think of poses yourself. Also, a quick note: there are lockers with keys, so make sure to keep your key safe. In summary, I highly recommend this place and would go again, but not on a hot day.
The rental store offers a variety of hanbok, which made it harder for us to choose—because they are all so beautiful. Plus, the store is just across from the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace, so it's not a long walk. The costume can be a little uncomfortable to wear on a sunny day as they are made of silk, so a shorter walk to the palace helps for a less sweaty experience.
We recently had the chance to try on traditional Hanbok at Gyeongbokgung Palace, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Booking through Klook was seamless, and it made the entire process so much easier. The Hanbok shop was conveniently located near the palace, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They had a wide range of colorful Hanbok to choose from, with various styles and sizes to suit both men and women. The staff helped us pick the perfect outfits based on our preferences, and they even provided helpful tips on how to wear the Hanbok properly.
We chose to experience Hanbok around 9 AM. The staff spoke excellent Chinese, so there were no language communication issues. There was a wide selection of Hanbok colors, and even the basic braided hairstyles looked beautiful and simple. The female staff members also matched appropriate headwear to the Hanbok colors. The only downside was that after the Hanbok experience, when changing back into our own clothes, the fitting room had no lock, only a rope hooked to the door. A Western man who was returning his clothes at the same time almost pulled open the curtain (he was clearly doing it on purpose, as we heard laughter and playful noises). Fortunately, my friend, who was standing near the door, reacted quickly and immediately yelled at him in English, preventing him from successfully opening the curtain. The security measures in the fitting rooms need to be strengthened, or customer management needs to be improved, otherwise, it can get very chaotic when too many people are returning clothes at the same time.
非常友善和樂於助人的員工,他們幫助我們選擇了韓服的設計。租賃店離安國站的宮殿更近,非常方便,因為它距離宮殿只有一條街。員工確切知道我們想要什麼,他們的服務非常出色。
After checking out the surrounding hanbok rental shops, this one has the best location, situated between Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace. We booked the 4-hour plan, first exploring Bukchon, then taking a break before heading to Gyeongbokgung. There are many styles of hanbok available, with a wide variety of colors for both skirts and tops, and even children's hanbok. We arrived at 11 AM on a weekday and were able to find satisfactory hanbok. The staff helped us change and style our hair quickly and efficiently, and they were very friendly. Basic headwear and a hanbok bag are included. Although the price is a bit higher, it actually includes hairstyles, hair accessories, and bags, plus the location is incredibly convenient, making it very cost-effective. Highly recommended!
The store is located near the side entrance of the Palace. The place is clean, and their Hanboks are well-maintained. The staff are also very accommodating.
Très satisfait. Emplacement juste en face du palais. Nous avons été pris en charge immédiatement. Personnel poli et arrangeant, nous avons été surclassés en coiffure premium. Fortement recommandé.
The shop is near the palace. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The rental hanboks are very nice and I love it! THIS PLACE IS SO WORTH IT ♥️♥️♥️
