We had such a great time at the ramen and gyoza cooking class! It was a fun and hands-on experience for the whole family, and our instructors made everything easy to follow and really enjoyable. The food turned out delicious. Highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a unique and memorable activity in Tokyo!
What a lovely way to end our few weeks in Japan. Such a lovely, knowledgeable, accommodating couple. The place was very serene and made the learning feel more like hanging out with friends. The ramen was delicious and we can’t wait to try the recipe with our friends when we get home. If you are looking for something different to do and are considering this class—do it. It was one of our favorite activities. We wish we could have stayed longer!!
If you want a unique experience in Tokyo, I highly recommend this! The class is conducted in Japanese or English. If you're not proficient in either language, it might be a bit difficult to understand. However, it doesn't require a high level of proficiency, and you can often understand through gestures! The owners are a couple who ran a ramen shop overseas and returned to Tokyo due to COVID-19. They are incredibly kind and helpful. The class is enjoyable, with games interspersed throughout. Making ramen with your own hands is truly an amazing experience. I found them to be very attentive, as they confirmed customer needs such as allergies, disliked ingredients, and pregnancy, and accommodated them accordingly. If you love ramen, you should definitely join this class :)
It was a great experience, Yoshi and Amo are super friendly and well communicated hosts. The reason I chose this class is that there are nothing too fancy, but just two simple, down-to-earth persons sharing their love - teaching and showing the craftsmanship of making ramen. I can also feel their joy when they shared about foods, life, travels and stuff. Thank you for giving us such a unique experience :)
One of our favorite experiences in Japan! Yoshi and Amo were so friendly and welcoming. We learned a lot and feel excited to try making ramen and dumplings at home in the future. Yoshi uses a pork broth but did let me know he can do chicken only if guests don’t eat pork. Thank you again for having us :)
Amo & Yoshi are a wonderful couple; they hosted us warmly and taught us how to make gyoza and ramen dishes. It was a great experience for us, highly recommended.
Yoshi and Amo were absolutely amazing. The class was by far our favorite experience in Japan. The attention to detail and hospitality were outstanding. The ramen broth was delicious. We couldn't recommend this more highly to anyone!
Excellent experience with chef Yoshi and his wife. The lesson was well prepared, very informative and we ended up eating lovely food. We were able to book two vegetarian and two meat options, highly recommended!
Yoshi and Amo were wonderful instructors for this class, they not only taught us how to make delicious ramen and gyoza, but they made the class super fun and informative. We’d recommend this activity for all ramen / gyoza lovers! We have even made gyoza already since returning to Australia and it was just as fabulous as in the class. 😄
