Passeio Matinal a Pé em Veneza

I was running about 5-10 minutes late and I reached out to the tour company via WhatsApp to let them know. They weren't very helpful at all and told me to try to get there as there was nothing they could do for me. I asked them if they could contact the tour guide to let me know where the first stop would be. They told me there was no way they could reach the guide! I never received a response or a follow-up. Thankfully, I arrived within 5 minutes and the tour was just starting. Overall, the tour was enjoyable and the guide was excellent. He is a local and knew the area very well. He was informative and engaging. He had great stories to share.

Good... but the guide should be a little more energetic and make the tour a bit more interesting.

The guide took us around the different areas and explained some of the significant parts of the islands. The streets are narrow and it is always crowded. You need to be watchful of pickpockets and the safety of young children. The winding paths can be disorienting as many of the places look the same. Having Internet access and GPS is necessary.

The whole family enjoyed the walk - even our 13-year-old! Our guide shared some information that we didn't see in the guidebooks, which was a plus for us!

This walking tour was an excellent way to learn about the history of Venice, which made visiting the city fun and interesting.
