I originally thought there wouldn't be many attendees on a Monday, but to my surprise, it was a full house. Exchanging for physical tickets was very convenient; just present the order QR code to the staff on the left side of the entrance. Karlskirche (St. Charles Church) is located in the city center, where three subway lines converge. Our group traveled from a hotel near the Danube Tower and arrived in just 10 minutes, making transportation very convenient. The 1765 Orchestra interprets music with its own unique style, and the members have excellent chemistry, making it a rich feast for both the ears and eyes. It is recommended to queue 40 minutes before the performance to secure the best seats in the section.
Be there early and get the good seats in cat II. it’s worth it. Much better than cat I seats that are at the sides.
The agency sent the e-ticket the night before, so there was no need to redeem any tickets. It was a very good and entertaining concert. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great acoustics in the church and wonderful music pieces, very impressive. You should arrive early enough, as you only book one category.
The interior of the church is beautiful. I recommend buying the more expensive seats at the front for a truly wonderful experience. The lead violinist was incredibly skilled; it was a fantastic musical feast.
Managed to be assigned to the 5th row for a Cat 1 ticket. Directly received the ticket QR code via email, skipped the queue to exchange the ticket. Very fortunate to have an unobstructed view of the stage and the musicians. The concert is worth it, acoustics at the front are pretty good, not so sure about the center or the back row. Combined with the church vibes, it is highly recommended.
If you love Vivaldi, you would like this concert. Very good experience, not overly long so was enjoyable- they played the famous pieces from the 4 seasons and Handel. We went on a rainy night and it was nice that underneath the seats were heated and they provided blankets too. Do note: No photography during concert.
Concert was awesome! there are 1 more piece played before the Four Season, both solo performers and the group are performing great music with the Church as backdrop! However the venue acoustics is not allow no amplifier, if seat in the middle would be the best.
Seating: You'll receive an email notification about your seats one or two days in advance, so there's no need to arrive extremely early to secure a spot. However, everyone will be allowed to enter around 7:45-7:50 PM. In any case, the event won't start until 8:15 PM, so I don't think you need to arrive too early. There are no restrooms inside; they are paid restrooms located outside. If you need to use the restroom, please do so outside beforehand.
During the performance, it was evident that the group members had excellent chemistry. When the rhythm changed, they would exchange glances, and it was clear that each member's facial expression showed a deep immersion in the melody.
