It was a fun and immersive way to experience Korean culture, especially when visiting palaces and historical sites. There were many styles and colors to choose from, and the staff were helpful in assisting with fitting and styling. The rental process was smooth and affordable, often including accessories like hairpieces and bags. Wearing the hanbok made exploring places like palaces feel more special, and it was perfect for taking beautiful photos. Overall, it’s a highly recommended experience for travelers who want a cultural and memorable activity in Korea.

We went when it was super busy, but since it was one of the only places that had plus-size options, we decided to come here. Otherwise, they were very efficient in getting everything done, from picking out hanbok to dressing us up and doing our hair.

It was my first time using Klook for tourist attractions and by far the BEST DECISION EVER MADE! The team at Daehan Hanbok Rental was amazing, very patient with the amount of people coming through their doors, so please bear with them if they have to attend to others before you. 🙏🏼 Overall, the experience was AMAZING! And as a plus-size girl, THEY CATERED FOR ME AND I WAS STUNNED! 😍 I didn't get any upgrades for styling my hair because the headbands were already cute enough. 😍

Gyeongbokgung sarayına sadece 5 dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde yer almaktadır. Burayı tavsiye ederim ancak açılış saatinden itibaren çok kalabalık olma eğiliminde, bu yüzden içeri girmek yerine önceden rezervasyon yapmak daha iyi olacaktır. Personel yabancılara karşı dost canlısıdır ve ihtiyaç duyduğunuzda size yardımcı olacaklardır.

Daehan Hanbok is less than a 10-minute walk from Gyeongbokgung Palace. I did some online research and heard that they had larger sizes. The location was easy to find. The staff spoke some English, but the communication breakdown came from incomplete directions rather than language barriers. I booked the Premium Hanbok rental for two people. The women's section is on the 2nd floor and the men's is on the 3rd floor. Lockers and returns are on the 4th floor. So you pick your outfit and they'll help you get dressed, but only one outfit change is included in the price. If you don't like it, you would have to pay extra for additional outfit change support. The experience was really stressful, and you get minimal support from the staff. I paid extra for a hairstyle, and I didn't like what the girl originally did. It made me look like I had a bald spot in the front. I asked her to redo it. *Sigh*. Not a perfect experience, but the location and the selection are big positives. It gets really busy, so go early to avoid crowds.

It's clear that Daehan Hanbok is a company that knows its business; it gives the impression of being perfectly organized, and that's something to appreciate when wearing a hanbok and having a photoshoot is one of your dream experiences on your trip to Korea. They attended to us very kindly and efficiently, helping us choose the hanbok and get dressed (it can be a bit complicated to do it alone). The photoshoot for 4 people included Premium hairstyling; the outfit had to be paid for separately (20,000 won, in my case 10,000 to have the Premium hanbok because I also had the Seoul Discovery Pass). Everything was very efficient, and we had the photoshoot with Noah, who spoke perfect English and was very patient in guiding us through the poses. It was an incredible experience; we received the photos the next day, and the edited ones in less than two weeks. I can highly recommend this service.

We made sure to arrive there at 8:30 am so we're the first customer so there's not much people on the store. In terms of the Hanbok we wore, we can really say they have really good quality when we compare what we wear from those we see in the palace. I also availed of the premium hairstyle separately for the full Jungjeon Mama effect. (P.S. we got a separate photoshoot session)

The owner and staff were very friendly. The owner greeted us upon arrival. I like how the staff are patient in dealing different customers’ concerns. They also offer a wide variety of hanbok ranging from regular to premium. Will definitely recommend to friends, family and coworkers who plan to visit South Korea very soon.
