Oyunuma Pond tours

Mijn gids, Rii, was zeer informatief en attent. Ze spreekt Engels en Mandarijn. We kregen een busje met 13 zitplaatsen voor 6 willekeurige mensen. Ze reserveerde de voorstoelen voor mijn geblesseerde been, zodat het gemakkelijker voor me was. Ze nam het initiatief om foto's voor ons te maken. Hoewel de reistijd bij elke stop vrij kort was, was het gelukkig geen druk seizoen, dus konden we toch het grootste deel van elke stop bezoeken. Tijdens de reis kregen we inzicht in de geschiedenis van Hokkaido en details over elke locatie. Een beetje jammer dat ik de Oyunuma-vijver niet kon bezoeken, omdat ik de heuvel bij Noboribetsu niet kon beklimmen. Ik heb genoten van de Bocca-yoghurt bij Lake Toya en Guarana (Hokkaido's Coca-Cola), aanbevolen door Rii. De babybruine beren waren super schattig op de berenboerderij. Voor Otaru was er geen tijd om beroemde zoetigheden te kopen (Letao, Rokkusei, Ryugetsu) vanwege de drukte (maar al deze merken zijn te vinden op Sapporo Station). We hebben het Otaru-kanaal, Kitachi Glass, het Muziekdoosmuseum en Miffy Port Town (speciaal ontworpen items alleen voor Otaru) bezocht.

It was a trip where I truly experienced the magnificent nature of Hokkaido! Our guide, Hikaru, provided detailed explanations and even shared some funny jokes, making sure there was never a dull moment. Thank you for making this such an enjoyable trip!

Het is een prachtige tour, begrijp me niet verkeerd. Maar heb duidelijke verwachtingen van wat je gaat zien; als je al door Japan hebt gereisd, zal er niets nieuws voor je zijn om te zien. Ik zou dit niet bovenaan mijn lijst zetten voor een bezoek aan Sapporo. De gids was geweldig en ik heb geen klachten over de organisatie of het reisgezelschap.

Our guide Allen was very helpful and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of local stories & that’s so much better than reading articlesssss about Hokkaido history & culture. Wish we can have 30mins more at Otaru to take a slow stroll to soak in the beautiful town.

Ik geniet echt van deze tour en raad hem ten zeerste aan als je verschillende gebieden/plaatsen in Sapporo wilt verkennen. Ik heb hier veel meer van genoten dan van de kersenbloesemtour van gisteren. Onze gids Xixi is ook goed bekend met het gebied en ik waardeer het dat ze benadrukte hoe laat we terug moesten zijn bij de bus. Ze heeft ook mooie foto's van me gemaakt. Het weer was ook mooi, wat bijdroeg aan de goede tour. Misschien kom ik hier terug met familie en boek ik deze tour opnieuw. Bedankt Klook 🥰

I chose this tour because there weren't many options with a Korean-speaking guide for this particular route. I also liked the late start, which allowed for a relaxed morning. Ultimately, I was very satisfied. The tour was led by two guides, one Korean-speaking and one English-speaking. Our Korean-speaking guide, Sei, was particularly excellent, sharing interesting folklore and historical stories related to each spot, which made the travel enjoyable and never boring. I also appreciated her proactive efforts to take photos for us! If I visit Japan again, I would definitely like to use Tour Story!

The tour was a mixed experience. Unfortunately, the tour guide Yao Yao felt disengaged, unapproachable, and did not seem to care much about the group. Fukidashi Park was underwhelming, and the Lake Toya snowmobile activity was missing despite being stated in the itinerary, which felt misleading. Time at the Lake Toya viewpoint was too short, though the view itself was decent. On the positive side, Lake Hill Farm was great—the ice cream is a must-try. Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch was fun, especially feeding the bears. Noboribetsu Jigokudani Valley was alright overall.

I thought I booked my tour for the 15th, but I found out it was for the 17th (I planned to leave for Biei on the 17th). I talked to the guide, Joy, and she was able to make exception for me to join the group for the 15th. Joy was an amazing guide, full of enthusiaism and humor. I was the only English participant and she took the time to go over the details one on one. Nothing felt rushed. Would recommend Joy as your tour guide any day.

I had a wonderful tour experience! Everything was well organized, enjoyable, and exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Mr. Kevin for being such an excellent and accommodating tour guide. He was friendly, attentive, and always made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. One thing I especially appreciated was how he took beautiful photos for each of us at every location, helping us capture unforgettable memories from the tour. His professionalism, patience, and dedication truly made the experience even more special. We highly recommend this tour, and we are grateful to Mr. Kevin for making it such a memorable journey.
