The location is excellent — right in front of a tram station and very close to major attractions, which made getting around super convenient. The only downside was that the room didn’t feel as clean as I expected, likely because it’s an apartment-style accommodation. That said, everything was well organized and functional.

Very nice and clean room with good view of Spencer Street. I opted for no housekeeping service, so I saved a few dollars on the room charge. Very convenient location (very close to Southern Cross station), and near the downtown core of Melbourne. At $18 per person for the full breakfast, it’s very good value for money. Will definitely consider booking GSH the next time I plan to visit Melbourne.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. The room was a little smaller than I expected but still acceptable. The room was clean and bright, and the staff were polite. Basically, a few dozen steps to the left or right from the hotel entrance will lead you to a first-class cafe. The location is fantastic. Service: The staff were all very polite. Transportation Convenience: The tram station is just a few dozen steps away, and it's free to ride around the CBD. Can it get any better than that! Cleanliness: The room was clean, bright, and spotless, with all the necessary facilities.

Dit hotel heeft mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Het is superhandig, 3 minuten naar de State Library, wat ook geldt voor Melbourne Central. Veel eetgelegenheden, bubble tea en restaurants in de buurt. Er is altijd iemand bij de receptie, wat je een veilig gevoel geeft. Het appartement met twee slaapkamers is fijn omdat het een kitchenette heeft en ze zijn erg behulpzaam om twee van onze appartementen dicht bij elkaar te plaatsen. Voor de prijs, zeer de moeite waard!

It's super narrow, and it's easy to scrape the walls. There are many "stories" on the walls, so drivers should be careful. Also, there's no elevator in the parking lot. Remember to drop off your luggage at the hotel entrance before heading down to the parking lot. I was reminded by a Klook review, so thank you. The second problem is that this is truly a historic hotel, almost 30 years old. Although it has been renovated, the equipment and layout are from an older era. You can feel it, but it is clean, so don't worry.

The only thing we didn't anticipate was that we booked a two-bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchen, but the rooms did not have air conditioning, and we woke up covered in sweat every day. The air conditioning in the living room only felt cool for the first two days, and after it was repaired, it still didn't cool, so we had to use the only electric fan.
