nice hotel in good location 5min walk to nearest shin osaka station if you are taking lots of Shinkansen bullet trains from osaka great place to stay. clean and nice staff

Located near Shin-Osaka Station, about 10 minutes away. They have a comic book lounge where you could read from their collection of Manga while enjoying unlimited soda or coffee for free. At 10pm, they also serve free ochazuke.

I decided to use this hotel due to it's location near Shin-Osaka Station (and because it offered an onsen which I unfortunately never had a chance to use). It is about a 10 min walk to the station. This gave easy access to the JR shinkansen routes and Osaka Metro's Midosuji line. I found it a bit odd that breakfast was "not included" despite there being an entrance fee to the breakfast but perhaps that's jusy how some Japanese hotels operate. The hotel itself felt very clean and the rooms were small (as expected in Japan). Great for an individual traveler like myself, but perhaps not so great for families or larger groups. The fridge in my room barely worked but everything else functioned as expected. For it's location, I would consider staying here again, but I would also probably explore other options in the area as well.
