This hotel is amazing. beautiful design, carefully thought out to immerse the visitor in a modern traditional experience. Tatami Mats, beds, no shoes, the onsen, the free goodies and soba dinner… easily the highlight of my stay in Japan. I traveled with a family of 4 and this was one of the very few hotels that could affordably and comfortably accommodate us in one room, at a better bang for your buck than booking two rooms at hotels that have fewer amenities. They provided two beds and two tatami beds at no extra cost, and the room is still spacious. Laundry machines came in clutch. Free ice cream! Breakfast buffet is an extra cost but worth it if their offerings are up your alley. The onsen, provided it isn’t busy, just hits the spot after a day out on the town. I didn’t use the in room shower once. The hotel pajamas are comfy and cozy too! Next time we’re in Japan we are definitely staying at Onyado Nono again.

Great experience and has. a traditional onsen with set hours. Was one of the few western/european couple there, but was treated with respect and no discrimination. Highly recommend if you want something more “authentic” but still VERY close to all the tourist “hot spots”

The hotel’s traditional design creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and communicated well in English. The onsen was clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a long day out. The complimentary ramen was also a delightful treat — delicious and satisfying!

This hotel is a traditional Japan hotel. Loved that right when you enter they clean your luggage wheels and have you remove your shoes. They have hot springs here which we did not use due to we have tattoos. Location is great.

A great hotel with onsen. Room was very clean and location was suberb. Near metro, tourist attraction area. Many restaurant in nearby vicinity. Staff was helpful in arranging for luggage transfer, requires overnight transfer. For same day transfer need to send to the nearest yamato collection point before 11 am. Fill up the information online to shorten the process.

Check in process is so easy. Front desk staff can speak english. Ramen is served at night and may be refilled. Free Probiotic and Ice cream at certain times of the day. There is also an Onsen that may be visited. Breakfast is so delicious. Overall, I am happy to stay here and will truly recommend this place.
