GreatStayed with family
Hotel had a very classic feel. Triple bed room that we stayed in was a bit dated and quite small but overall at least bright when the curtains were open. Even though we had a non smoking room, the room did smell like there were smokers before us. Bathroom had a shower over the bathtub, single basin and toilet all in one - it was very small and the shower curtain was mouldy. The space was at times a challenge for 3 adults to coordinate. The breakfast buffet options were adequate but each restaurant served the same dishes every single day - there seemed to be no rotation of food selection during our entire one week stay. If we wanted something different we would have to try a different restaurant. The outdoor japanese garden was lovely and had lots of colourful koi but the area of the garden close to the teppanyaki restaurant smelt dirty and oily. Overall we felt this hotel fell short of expectations given it is considered by many locals as one of the best in Tokyo.

This is a massive glitzy hotel with multiple shops and restaurants and a lovely garden to wander in. By Tokyo standards (well anywhere really) the room and bad were massive. Very handy place to come back to if you need respite from hectic Tokyo. There are two stations and the Ginza line very close and you can get anywhere in central Tokyo in 30 minutes. Efficient welcoming and highly professional service

Beautiful property! Just what we needed after 8 days traveling and our last night in Tokyo! Relaxing, extremely attentive staff. We asked for once and they brought it to our room in 2 minutes. I barely hung up the phone and it was at our door. The Japanese garden was lovely for a quiet stroll and the king bed was so comfortable. I highly recommend!

GreatStayed with kids
My initial impression was that this was an excellent hotel with a truly exquisite garden. Everything top notch. However one thing in particular quite soured my overall impression to give this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The breakfast buffet at the Garden Lounge did not have a large selection. In addition, we went down at 9:15 (45 min before the buffet closing time) and already they were being very slow and tight about refilling the food selection. It was as if they were trying so hard to not put out more than they absolutely needed or trying so hard not to waste that in some cases they did not even refill the food bins at all. Completely unacceptable. And might I say… for such a luxurious upscale hotel to feel that they need to save a few yen/dollars on not putting out too much food or to deliberately slow down in doing so really takes away from the overall air of class this place otherwise projected. It felt cheap for them to drag their feet or try to cheap out in this way. Left a really “sour taste” and overall this just annoyed and took away from the experience of staying here. Overall the buffet experience was just completely beneath the quality of everything else. For this reason alone though, I would not stay here again. I’ve stayed many places so this is my Expedia platinum membership and travel experience talking. Shame because this place really seemed special until I had breakfast.

FantasticStayed with family
The hotel is building is nice with a beautiful outside garden. The rooms are clean and a good size, with great staff all around the large hotel. The service from the hotel staff is excellent, first class! Great breakfast options from various restaurants and room service. The same can also be said for lunch and dinner. The location also allows for easy travel in and out of Tokyo. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
