staff are really friendly. 7/11 and daiso nearby. clean and nice hotel service.they give new towels everyday… hotel is quite a walk from ueno station,not advisable if you have large and heavy luggages but inaricho station is close though which is just 1 stop from Ueno station on ginza line… hotel can also add more English channels in their tv’s as they cater different nationalities.

location is great! One stop away from Ueno station. there's a nearby grocery and 7-11 (cheaper to get your snack fix from the grocery). downside is there is only one lift so it was a bit frustrating when going down and your room is in the lower floors. By the time it reaches your floor, it's already full. i have always loved APA hotels. although the rooms are small, like any usual hotel in Japan, the service and amenities provided more than make up for it.
