Fantastic슈페리어 트윈 (욕조 포함) · 2 Adults · 1 Nights
First time in Fukuoka, and I booked this hotel last minute because of its high ratings—so glad I did!
The room was surprisingly spacious for a Japanese business hotel, which made my stay super comfortable. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but the public bath and lounge on the 13th floor were fantastic, and you can grab any extra amenities you need right in the lobby.
Location-wise, it’s unbeatable. Nakasu-Kawabata Station is super close, and there’s a Don Quijote, Ichiran Ramen, Starbucks, and convenience stores right around the corner. Extremely convenient for picking up travel supplies or grabbing a bite.
The staff were all wonderful and friendly. As a Korean traveler, having Korean-speaking staff available was a huge plus and made everything completely hassle-free.
Would 100% stay here again on my next trip to Fukuoka! Highly recommended.

The hotel is near NAKASU station which is way better than the 2 more popular stations. Hakata and Tenjin Stations are too big and too crowded. Do try the River Cruise nearby.

Recently stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Nakasu and came away with mixed feelings. I haven’t stayed in other hotels across Japan yet, so my review is based on what I’d expect from a hotel costing over £100 a night.
The positives first: the hotel is modern, clean, well maintained, and in a very convenient location for getting around Fukuoka. Staff were professional, and all the expected amenities were provided — robes, slippers, toiletries, and cleaning service.
The main downside was the room size. I stayed in the Standard Queen room and it felt very cramped for two people, especially with luggage. The bathroom was also narrow, with the toilet, sink, and tub tightly lined together. The tub itself was surprisingly short and impractical for taller guests.
TV options were limited too, especially for English-speaking travellers.
Overall, I’d still recommend the hotel, particularly during a sale. Good hotel, but at full price I’m not sure the Standard Queen room offers the best value.

Located in a quieter but close area to Tenjin, which is very convenient to move and rest.
Some staff are not experienced with poor language skill.
However, overall it is well managed hotel.

We enjoyed our stay, very hospitable staff. They have DIY kiosks that’s why the check in was seamless and fast. I’ll stay here again.

The hotel is just 3 minutes away from the subway station and it is close to many restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet there is obviously famous and attracts lots of local. You should go there early morning before 9 am to avoid the crowd. The surprise of the hotel is you happen to find a few trees with cherry blossom 🌸🌸🌸
