The location is great. It's close to the subway station, Sakae, Nagoya Castle, and Mirai Tower, all within walking distance. The room condition is excellent. The public bath is also clean and helps relieve travel fatigue. It's great.

A very satisfying hotel! Choosing to stay in Kanayama was the right decision. We happened to visit during a Japanese long weekend, but the room rate didn't increase significantly. The room was clean and relatively new, though the flat pillows were a downside and uncomfortable. Breakfast was fully booked during peak holiday hours, but I was happy to see macaroni salad; it was simple but sufficient, and the environment was very pleasant. Having a washer/dryer (though the dryer didn't fully dry clothes) and an ice machine was great! The only real complaint is that at night, there were touts outside the hotel, smoking and chatting loudly, which felt quite odd for a family-friendly hotel.

What impressed me most about my stay at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nagoya Taiko-dori Side was its excellent location. It's just a few minutes' walk from the Taiko-dori exit of the station, which is incredibly convenient for travelers with large luggage or those arriving by Shinkansen. The hotel maintains the brand's consistently high standards, with clean rooms and a cleverly designed layout. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom significantly enhance the quality of the stay. There's a convenience store downstairs and numerous restaurants nearby, making the amenities impeccable. Given its convenience and comfort at a transportation hub, the price is quite reasonable, making it a top choice for business and leisure travelers seeking great value and an efficient itinerary.

The location is in the Chunichi Building, the newest landmark in Nagoya's central Sakae district. It's very convenient, directly connected to the subway exit via underground passages 21-22. The lobby is on the 24th floor, offering excellent panoramic views. The room number and floor will be provided upon check-in. Downstairs, you'll find Blue Bottle Coffee, Hisaya-odori Park, and Don Quijote, perfect for shopping until you drop. For a late-night snack, you can walk to Sekai no Yamachan for takeout chicken wings. If you enjoy night photography, head straight down to the 7th-floor sky deck for fantastic shots of the Chubu Electric Power Tower and Oasis 21's 'Spaceship-Aqua' within a 10-minute walk. Highly recommended if you like these features.

The hotel's location is perfect, a shopping paradise! It's across from Alpennagoya Sports Mall, next to Starbucks, and in front of Pargo Department Store. I was surprised by how clean and spacious the room was, and the bathtub was great too. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke Korean very well. I'm 100% satisfied with the location, facilities, breakfast, and service. There were many Chinese guests, probably because they know it's a great value for money :)
