The hotel is not far from Sakae Subway Station, and you can use the elevator in the Chunichi Building to easily transport luggage. The hotel staff are very friendly. There are washing machines, a microwave, and an ice maker on the 3rd floor. The room is a bit small but very clean and comfortable.

The location is great. It's close to the subway station, Sakae, Nagoya Castle, and Mirai Tower, all within walking distance. The room condition is excellent. The public bath is also clean and helps relieve travel fatigue. It's great.

The hotel's location is perfect, a shopping paradise! It's across from Alpennagoya Sports Mall, next to Starbucks, and in front of Pargo Department Store. I was surprised by how clean and spacious the room was, and the bathtub was great too. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke Korean very well. I'm 100% satisfied with the location, facilities, breakfast, and service. There were many Chinese guests, probably because they know it's a great value for money :)

Our stay at Nagoya Kanko Hotel was excellent and exceeded our expectations.
The room was cleaned daily, and complimentary bottled water, fresh towels, and clean pajamas were provided every day. The room also included useful amenities such as complimentary toothbrushes, shaving razors, hair brushes, room slippers, and a kettle.
One of the most pleasant surprises was the complimentary lounge on the 6th floor. Guests can enjoy hot or iced coffee, tea, and soft drinks at any time of the day or night. The lounge is comfortable and quiet, with plenty of seating. This was an unexpected benefit that greatly enhanced our stay.
The hotel staff were consistently friendly, professional, and courteous.
Overall, I have no complaints. The quality of service, comfort, cleanliness, and amenities far exceeded the price we paid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return on a future visit to Nagoya.
Highly recommended.

On the first day, it was pouring rain and heavily flooded when we arrived in Nagoya, so we couldn't go into the city center. We weren't able to stay the first night, but fortunately, the hotel was understanding and refunded the cost of the first night's stay. The hotel's location is convenient; it's less than a 10-minute walk to Nagoya JR Station. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a late-night snack. The hotel staff are friendly, and the cleanliness is excellent.

A very satisfying hotel! Choosing to stay in Kanayama was the right decision. We happened to visit during a Japanese long weekend, but the room rate didn't increase significantly. The room was clean and relatively new, though the flat pillows were a downside and uncomfortable. Breakfast was fully booked during peak holiday hours, but I was happy to see macaroni salad; it was simple but sufficient, and the environment was very pleasant. Having a washer/dryer (though the dryer didn't fully dry clothes) and an ice machine was great! The only real complaint is that at night, there were touts outside the hotel, smoking and chatting loudly, which felt quite odd for a family-friendly hotel.

Nagoya Sakae Station, super close to the train station, underground shopping malls, major shopping centers, and department stores, with a FamilyMart right downstairs. Except for the room being a bit small, everything else was great.
