Amazing location, helpful staff, room fine for a weekend stay.

A highly convenient and comfortable hotel right by the airport, offering a direct pedestrian walkway straight to the departure hall.

12 minute walk from King’s Cross station although it felt like a lifetime in this heatwave. Hotel doesn’t have air conditioning but they did provide a fan. Breakfast was ok, but no fried eggs but a ton of scrambled instead. Sausages weren’t the best and stay away from the orange juice, very weak. Apple juice was good though.

Arrived at London Heathrow (LHR) at 8:00 PM, pulled my luggage around, and couldn't find the POD signs. After finally catching a POD to the hotel, I couldn't find the hotel entrance either. After struggling for ages, I finally reached the hotel at 10:30 PM. However, being very close to the airport and being able to take the free POD to Terminal 5 is very convenient for someone like me taking an early morning flight.

We stayed at The Standard for a few nights during a family trip to London and had a great stay. The location was ideal for us, both for spending time with friends and family and for catching the Eurostar after checkout. We booked a double room, which worked surprisingly well for our family of four. By London standards, it was a good size and felt comfortable rather than cramped. The hotel is directly opposite King's Cross, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and everyone made us feel very comfortable travelling with children. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and somewhere we'd happily consider again on future trips to London.

10 mins walk from Canary Wharf station. A brand new hotel, so does the staff. Limited amenities inside the room. No facial tissue, no complementary water, no recycling bin.
