Fantastic 5.0
The famous Qingdao Beer Museum was incredibly crowded, but thanks to our advance reservation, we were able to go straight to the entrance, show our tickets, and get in. The product information stated the meeting point was the 'Tourist Center Ticket Plaza,' but I didn't know where that was, and there were too many people to use the multilingual audio guide. I thought it would be a location inside the museum, but it was hard to find. Despite that minor disappointment, we enjoyed exploring the facilities and savored the honey peanuts and two glasses of beer per person. The gift shop was quite large, and many people were buying beer, but you can purchase the original beer at the airport duty-free shop for the same price, so there's no need to carry it around beforehand. The honey-flavored peanuts are truly delicious! You can also find these at the duty-free shop. We also used the unlimited beer included in the package, and I went to the 1903 LAB. You can start using it from 4:30 PM, and the interior was clean, the staff were friendly, so we had a great time enjoying delicious snacks and drinks. You just show your QR code in advance and keep asking for refills. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance!

I went with the driver and two local guides and had a great time. Communication was done via Papago, so there were no major inconveniences.

The venue was beautifully decorated and the performances were interesting. The food was exquisite and artfully presented, served with a pot of tea and wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our night

I usually don't leave reviews, but wow... I think this is the best possible outcome when China's capital and technological might meet a human wave attack. The performance itself is at a high school freshman level, but you're not going to see the performance; you're going to see the stage sets and effects. First, the venue is relatively out of the way, but once you see the show, you'll completely understand why. Definitely watch it from 360 degrees. It's great for elementary school boys or elderly parents. However, since you'll be watching the show with Chinese people, well... yes, there are moments, but it's hard to find a show of this caliber for this price. Since it's outdoors, a windbreaker was absolutely necessary today (as of late May).

I truly enjoyed the experience! The performance was professional and interactive with audiences. Wonderful experience! One reminder is not to book VIP for elderly as the seat design was slightly not friendly for audience to sit down/get up.

Great experience. We (4 others and I) had a driver/guide who grew up in the Laoshan area. She is witty, extremely knowledgeable and professional. I didn't remember her name though. My rudimentary understanding of Putonghua a.k.a. Mandarin, has helped though.

We made the most of our day in Qingdao, visiting all the famous spots at a great value. Everything was perfect, from the pre-trip information and guiding to the punctuality of meeting times. However, with five people, including the driver, in a sedan, the seating was a bit uncomfortable during travel.

Our tour operator was Infinite Tour. I contacted them via whatsapp and they responded very fast and in good English. They were very clear and detailed in their response. Our guide Xiao Zhu is very patient, efficient, caring, professional. I was always lagging behind the group as I was busy taking photos, she constantly kept a lookout for me. She was observant to our needs. Driver was careful and punctual. We are very pleased with opeartor, guide and driver service. . Best value for money tour in our entire trip. Will surely book future tours with Klook. Thank you very much!

We really appreciate that they were able to accommodate us last minute. The guide was very patient with us and gave us extra care knowing that we were not locals. The views were phenomenal, but make sure to prepare for a sweaty climb up the mountain. Downsides were: 1) The bus was really hot - the airconditioning was barely tolerable in the afternoon heat. 2) The bus driver smoked at every stop opportunity, leaving the interior with a perpetual cigarette smell.

What to know before visiting Qingdao

Best things to do across Qingdao City through the year

Qingdao City is best known for its museums, followed by a lively scene of tours and attraction passes, with zoos, aquariums and parks rounding out the mix. Demand peaks in April and dips in August and September, so the city’s cultural and guided experiences concentrate their busiest months in spring.

What different travellers tend to enjoy here

Families will find museums, zoos & aquariums and parks & gardens the most straightforward picks — these categories suit kids and mixed-age groups and tend to be lower-cost or easy to budget for. Couples often favour tours and attraction passes for more curated or romantic outings and flexible sightseeing. Solo travellers and small groups can pick from the full range, with museums as the easiest, most budget-friendly entry point and tours offering the widest variety of choices.

What travellers should book ahead

What travellers book ahead Most visitors keep their plans flexible — typical bookings are made around a few days before travel, though the earliest planners secure things roughly a couple of weeks out. Booking ahead matters most for April, the peak month, when demand is highest.

How categories compare on price and who they suit

Museums are the cheapest way in and the most consistent value, ideal for budget-conscious visitors and anyone wanting a straightforward cultural day out. Tours sit at the top of the price scale and also offer the widest spread of options, so they suit travellers looking for tailored or premium experiences. Attraction passes and zoos & aquariums sit in the mid-range, appealing to families and sightseers who want convenience without the highest cost, while parks & gardens are another low-cost option for relaxed outdoor time.
