Definitely worth visiting once. There's a chance to see kangaroos. It's colder up on the mountain than in the city, so bring an extra jacket to stay warm. The tour group will give you a bottle of water.

Fun and enjoyable trip. Friendly tour guide. Slightly rainy weather while we were on the way to cradle mountain but the rain eventually stop and we had a great view of the mountain. Downside is that you spent quite a bit of time on the bus as the trip to the mountain is about 2-2.5 hours one way

We were lucky enough to be there on a snowy day. The tour guide took us around, and the scenery was beautiful. We even saw a wild wombat!

A great choice for those who want to relax, Tasmania is truly serene (not many people or cars). Wineglass Bay was just okay… but the hotel at Cradle Mountain was fantastic!

The scenery is beautiful, and the tour guide's explanations are very detailed and a bit humorous. Bottled water is available on the bus, so you don't have to worry about forgetting to bring water. The mural town is a short stop, but it's sufficient. Remember to bring your warm clothes with you before changing to the shuttle bus, as the temperature drops noticeably after the shuttle takes you up the mountain! Although it's called a shuttle bus, it's the same tour guide and the same group members. You're just switching to a smaller shuttle bus to enter the national park's restricted area. The meal is simple, and you can enjoy lunch while overlooking the beautiful scenery. I think if the weather is good, you could even grab your food and have a picnic on the grassland.

We, Niniek and Jacky joined this tour via Klook from Hobart on 17-21 Aug'25. We found that the itinerary was very comprehensive and our guide plus driver, Anthony made the trip truly a remarkable experience. He explained each place of interest with such a passion, insights, and clarity showing his great love for his hometown as a Tassie. He planned the long trip and paced it nicely with sufficient break in between. We loved his insightful and recommendation on what to eat and buy. Would really appreciate his surprise at the end of our trip to Devil Corner as a bonus. His playlist is interestingly fun too. Well done Anthony for entertaining us and making our trip a pleasant one!
