The hotel was close to restaurants, especially enjoy the snacks. You can also walk from the hotel to the ropeway.

The Crystal Inn at Sun Moon Lake has some drawbacks. The room felt quite small and outdated, with an awkward layout. The toilet and shower seemed forced into the space, positioned opposite each other with only a curtain for privacy, and the sink was placed right next to the bed. There was no water refill station outside the room for the provided bottle, which was inconvenient. Breakfast is served at a different building, The Crystal Resort, which requires a short walk. However, the breakfast was enjoyable, especially with the beautiful view of the lake from the pier. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay more pleasant despite the room's shortcomings.

could be cleaner but it was okay! interesting concept with the bed being on an elevated ground. room is smaller than typical ones tho, with the bathroom and shower room in each corner (shower room was very small and was just a squarish cuboid). upgrade if you’re staying for more nights but if you’re on a budget, it’s all fine as well. free breakfast! yay.
