The room was nice and clean. The staff were nice and friendly.

Alfar Hotel, located in Dayuan District, Taoyuan, offers a modern and comfortable stay with convenient access to local attractions (Xpark and Gloria Outlets) and transportation hubs. The hotel is approximately 1 km from Taoyuan HSR Station, making it ideal for travelers needing quick access to high-speed rail services. Excellent cleanliness and contemporary design of the room, well-maintained amenities and comfortable accommodations. The hotel offers free beverages, including beer, and snacks in the rooms, enhancing the overall guest experience. Helpfulness and proactive nature of the hotel staff, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests. While the hotel provides snacks and drinks, there is no in-house restaurant. However, several dining establishments are within walking distance. Alfar Hotel stands out as convenience, cleanliness, and excellent service in the Taoyuan area. Its proximity to major transportation links and thoughtful in-room amenities make it especially suitable for short stays or transit passengers.

- There is lounge area in level 1 with free beer, coffee,tea, sweets, biscuits provided for 24hrs except for beer - Room was upgraded to lake view automatically - There were international power point not required to bring travel adapter - The snacks in the room is complimentary - 2 mineral bottle and 2 sparkling water is complimentary - Toilets comes w smart bidet - Hairdryer is provided. Refer to my image attachment - Toilet amenities is provided and the shampoo seems premium - Able to order in Uber Eats. - Space wise can accommodate 2 opened up 28inch with no issues Cons No noise cancellation- I was able to heard guest from next room talking. In the morning, I also can heard housekeeper talking to the other guest next door in my room. No security required before 23:00 in the lift. I would like this is good for convenience but less security. Shower curtains were placed outside instead of inside the bathroom. I was not able to capture this clearly in their official photos. Do note the batheroom door is transparent and is required to use the curtain outside to get full coverage. In general, each level only comprises of 6 units which feels exclusive. I am able to walk to Gloria outlet, the road consider smooth but there are some upwards slope. Personally don’t advise family with old people to do that. It will be great if the hotel provides shuttle bus services to nearest Station and Gloria Outlet.
