Very beautiful tour! Tour Guide is entertaining. Only had 24hrs in Chicago and this was the highlight of it. Just make sure you dress for the weather since it can be chilly onboard. They also have a bar for drinks! Must do!!! Book sunset time to also get night time views.

I bought tickets for 8PM and it was perfect because it was still slightly bright outside and we could see watch the sunset. It was pretty organized and not too crowded on a Thursday night.

This time, I purchased the CityPASS online (for 3 attractions). I highly recommend taking the architectural boat tour. Chicago's skyline, dominated by its tall buildings, is absolutely stunning, and the diverse architectural styles and concepts are captivating. I highly recommend this tour! The only thing to note is that it can be very windy during the tour, so be sure to wear a jacket!

To reach the 360-degree observation deck, you first need to go down a set of stairs to the entrance. The experience begins with an introduction to Chicago's architectural history, followed by an elevator ride up to enjoy the 360-degree views of the city. It's a fantastic view!

Hartwell Memorial Window

Over a century ago, Agnes F. Northrop crafted the impressive Hartwell Memorial Window for Tiffany Studios. This special project was requested by Mary Hartwell to honor her husband, Frederick Hartwell. The window, made up of 48 panels and various glass types, draws inspiration from the view near Frederick Hartwell's family home by Mt. Chocorua in New Hampshire. It beautifully portrays nature's fleeting beauty, with the sun setting over a mountain, flowing water, and sunlight filtering through the trees, all depicted in vibrant colored glass in a detailed design.

Buddha Shakyamuni Statue

This Buddha statue dates back to the 12th century and originates from the coastal town of Nagapattinam in South India. This town was a hub for Buddhist monasteries that drew monks from faraway places. The statue shows the Buddha sitting in a meditative lotus pose, with hands and feet gently stacked on top of each other. A unique feature is the mark on his forehead, known as the urna, which symbolizes the Buddha as a revered figure.
