Things to do in Hakone Shrine

This trip was excellent. Our tour guide Matt was super friendly and Great English speaking guide. He gave us all possible recommendations at all places for local food, sight seeing and souvenir shopping. It was a great experience. Please ask for Matt as your guide if you plan to take this one day trip. you will thank me later.

I really recommend this tour. Great itinerary, and our guide, Luna, was great and made sure to explain the importance and history of every place we've visited. She was also very friendly and helped with taking photos.

The day trip was very good and we had a very good guide Erik around. Erik gave a lot of good recommendations for souvenirs and other useful tips while traveling Japan in general. It was sadly raining so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji but it didn’t ruin the experience for us.

Highly recommend the Gogoday language genius, tour guide Allan who is full of energy! This one-day trip to Kamakura was filled with warmth thanks to Allan's dedication. Allan is super enthusiastic and thoughtful, patient and meticulous the whole way, and completely approachable, guiding us around Kamakura like an old friend. At every attraction, he didn't just give a simple background introduction; he also told us the best photo spots and tips for avoiding crowds, and vividly shared the stories of the Kamakura Great Buddha, the Enoden line, and the Shonan coast. The most thoughtful part was that he constantly paid attention to everyone's condition in the group along the way, enthusiastically answered any questions, and had a great, reliable personality. The pace of the itinerary was comfortable, neither rushed nor pushy, allowing us to both fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kamakura and taste authentic local food.

​⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The absolute highlight of our Japan itinerary! ​Escaping the hustle of Tokyo for a day in Mt. Fuji and Hakone was an unforgettable reset. Seeing Mt. Fuji's iconic peak in person is stunning enough, but the real magic of this tour is how every segment feels like a new perspective: ​The Volcanic Vistas: Standing at Owakudani with the sulfur vents below and Fuji rising behind you is surreal. (Don't skip the black eggs!) ​On the Water & Air: Gliding across Lake Ashi on the pirate ship offered breathtaking views, followed by sweeping panoramas on the Hakone Ropeway. ​Stress-Free Logistics: Navigating Hakone's multi-layered transit (buses, ropeways, boats) on your own can be confusing, but this tour seamlessly connects every piece of the puzzle. ​Special thanks to our guide (Yang) and driver for keeping everything punctual while giving us plenty of time to explore. Worth every penny!

Absolutely loved this tour! 🇯🇵✨ This was my first ever overseas trip, so I was a little nervous about travelling somewhere completely new. Booking this guided tour was one of the best decisions I made, it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Erik, was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, sharing so much interesting information about the places we visited and the history of the area. He was also approachable which made the whole day relaxed and enjoyable. Seeing Mount Fuji, exploring Hakone, experiencing the pirate ship on Lake Ashi, Owakudani and Oshino Hakkai made for such a memorable day. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and it was amazing to experience so much in one day. A huge thank you to Erik for making my first overseas tour such a positive and memorable experience. This one-day tour was the highlight of my Tokyo trip, and it definitely didn't disappoint! Sure, the early start was a bit tiring, but our guide made the bus ride super engaging with fun stories about Japanese culture and Mt. Fuji, so the journey flew by. The air at the scenic spots was incredibly fresh, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Seeing Mt. Fuji in person—something I’d only ever seen in photos—was even more majestic than I imagined. We were so lucky with the perfect weather and a crystal-clear view of the summit! Every single spot looks like a postcard. Highly recommend this for anyone who loves taking photos!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Mount Fuji Tour! We had an amazing all-day Mount Fuji tour, and Ran was fantastic! He was both our guide and driver and made the entire day comfortable, easy, and enjoyable. Ran was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and very accommodating. He made sure we got to all of the planned stops, kept everything running smoothly, and shared great information along the way. He made the day feel relaxed and stress-free. We had such a memorable experience and would 100% recommend Ran and this Mount Fuji tour. Five stars all around! ⭐️
