Hotel JAL City Chitose is very close to the JR station, right at the entrance, which is extremely convenient. There's a restaurant downstairs where breakfast is also served, and it's decent. It's a top choice for early morning flights. They even have a special train-themed room, perfect for train enthusiasts.

Very convenient for early morning flight. Hotel is located within meters from check in counter and shopping centre. The room is dated but it is clean.

Self-driving was convenient, but I never received the check-in email. I also didn't hear back after contacting Klook customer service. Luckily, I ran into a cleaning staff member on site who helped me get checked in.

Portom International Hokkaido was by far our best hotel stay in Japan so far. Directly connected to New Chitose Airport, this five-star “museum hotel” ranked 9th among the World’s Best Airport Hotels and 4th in Asia.
Our Junior Suite Double was around ¥50,000 and incredibly spacious, with a walk-in closet, stylish bathroom, sofa area, airport-facing bed, and a completely free minibar with drinks and snacks.
Don't miss the 5F art display, gym, onsen, and Guest Room lounge. Our stay also included a free drink at the 8F bar and the 4F Café Sky Library. Staff even let us use the café drink after checkout, so after exploring the airport we returned for ginger ale and Darjeeling tea among the books before our flight.
An exceptional airport hotel we'll definitely return to, especially for the quality and generous inclusions.

The room was very tidy, and the facilities were excellent, especially the bathroom, which I was most satisfied with. The location is very close to New Chitose Airport, making it convenient for those with early morning departures or late-night arrivals in Japan. For those driving, the nearby amenities are also very sufficient. The only minor drawback is the frequent overhead aircraft, especially in the morning when what sounded like fighter jets flew overhead, creating quite a bit of noise.
