Junior Suite Double Room · 2 Adults · 1 Nights

Portom International Hokkaido was by far our best hotel stay in Japan so far. Directly connected to New Chitose Airport, this five-star “museum hotel” ranked 9th among the World’s Best Airport Hotels and 4th in Asia. Our Junior Suite Double was around ¥50,000 and incredibly spacious, with a walk-in closet, stylish bathroom, sofa area, airport-facing bed, and a completely free minibar with drinks and snacks. Don't miss the 5F art display, gym, onsen, and Guest Room lounge. Our stay also included a free drink at the 8F bar and the 4F Café Sky Library. Staff even let us use the café drink after checkout, so after exploring the airport we returned for ginger ale and Darjeeling tea among the books before our flight. An exceptional airport hotel we'll definitely return to, especially for the quality and generous inclusions.

This was an expensive overnight stay but we had an early flight the next day so we had no choice. Check in took a little while. Room was spacious with a good view of the tarmac.

hotel location: is awesome as the sq counter is literally right below the hotel. So good for ppl who has early flight back. service: great service, staff allowed us early check in and prepared snacks for us to celebrate our anniversary. Very nice gesture. The staff speak better English than other hotels' staff. Room was huge and is modern n Japanese at the same time. Public bath was OK. No view n a dark mostly. Perk is the dry sauna, which is not often provided in other hotels public bath
