Things to do in Arakurayama Sengen Park

This was a great tour! The tour guide, An, was an incredible guide! She shared very helpful facts and beautiful pictures of Mt Fuji across the different seasons. It was a foggy day so we didn’t get a great view but An gave us great pictures that made up for the fog

The tour was very well organized and we enjoyed it, even though Mount Fuji was hidden behind a thick cloud cover. It would be desirable if all participants were informed beforehand via WhatsApp.

Unfortunately, it rained on our day, but that didn't stop our guide Yuri from keeping her good mood. She's super! We found her really nice; we saw many iconic spots, she gave us lots of tips on what to do and where, and she really took great care of us. We're so glad we were on bikes with her, hopefully we'll see her again on our next trip! Matta ne! 💕

Serina is a wonderful person. I was so impressed with her from the get go, having to translate not only into one language but two!! at our first stop the team working on an event at the lake was very rude and Serina was able to find a new spot with swans for everyone to still enjoy there time. I knew mt Fuji wasn't promised to see do to weather but luck was very much on our side and several of the locations we got views.

We had a wonderful experience with our driver, Joe during our trip to Lake Kawaguchi and the surrounding areas to see Mount Fuji. He was punctual, friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the day. He drove safely and comfortably, took us to the best viewpoints, and was patient while we explored and took photos. His knowledge of the area also made the trip much easier and more enjoyable, especially as we wanted to see as much of Mount Fuji as possible. We truly appreciated his excellent service, warm attitude, and attention to our needs. He made our day trip smooth, relaxing, and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and professional driver around the Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi area!

On March 27, 2026, I took a day trip to Lake Kawaguchiko, hoping to see the cherry blossoms during the season, but they hadn't bloomed yet 🫠. The weather was decent, but unfortunately, I didn't get to see the full view of Mount Fuji. I was very lucky that day to have a female tour guide, Xu Jin, who provided detailed explanations at each scenic spot and was incredibly polite and wonderful. When we arrived at Arakurayama Sengen Park, we could see Mount Fuji. Due to time constraints, I didn't climb the five-story pagoda, but on the way back, I bought a beautiful Mount Fuji bag and strawberries from a vendor. We had lunch at Oshino Hakkai, which was a small park. At Lake Kawaguchiko, we took the cable car to the top, where we could see the entire lake and Mount Fuji. We also briefly explored the shopping street. I look forward to seeing the complete Mount Fuji on a day with better weather next time.

Our guide, Jack "Captain" Jack, was very friendly and accommodating. Despite the weather, it was a lovely day with everyone. He shared the most important information with us, which made things even easier. Plus, he's a super photographer!

The weather was perfect, the itinerary was perfect, and even the timing adjustment was spot on. We visited the last two courses first, and that adjustment felt like a stroke of genius! To be able to see Mount Fuji, which is said to be shy, without any regrets—from Mount Fuji with a few clouds to the majestic Mount Fuji with all the clouds cleared away—it was such a perfect itinerary. Thank you so, so much, Guide Yoon! You constantly looked out for us, always trying to give us more information, providing detailed explanations so we could move ahead, and even the photo spots were perfect! Thanks to you, we ate a lot of delicious food, saw many beautiful sights, and took many lovely pictures. It was wonderful that four women could explore Mount Fuji without getting tired. I'll never forget the scenery of the lake with the swans. And to the bus driver, thank you so much for the Shine Muscat grapes. I was incredibly touched at the end of the tour.
