The weather is great today! Very lucky! The tour guide introduced each attraction in both Mandarin and English, so that all the passengers on the bus could understand the information about the attractions. The tour guide also helped each member of the group use the ticket vending machine to buy lunch, making the whole lunch process much smoother. The tour guide was very punctual in picking up and dropping off and in the time spent at each attraction, which must be due to experience. All the tour members were also very cooperative, and finally, we were able to return to the drop-off point on time. The guide also shared places to eat or shop nearby. A very fulfilling day.

I was notified via e-mail and Whatsapp regarding the details of the tour the day before. I link to the map of the pick up location was really helpful. Guide was responsive to any inquiry. The destination was roughly 2.5hrs drive from Sapporo so it was a good decision to book this tour via Klook. This offer was affordable considering the distance from Sapporo.

We picked this tour because we really wanted to see northern Hokkaido which is a bit hard to take public transportation to for a short visit. Luckily, this tour gave us a chance to visit Furano and Biei through a well-thought of itinerary. The stops were a bit quick but it was enough to enjoy the sights. We also got lucky and experienced first day of snow!!! Thanks also to our tour guide Eric and driver Nambu for the safe travels.

We have a lot of guests checking in, so if you arrive too late, the closest parking spaces might be full. But don't worry, the hotel will provide a shuttle to a nearby parking lot. You also won't have to worry about your luggage.

Tips Before You Go to Furano Ski Resort

1. Check the Snow Season Dates

The best time to visit Furano Ski Resort is from late November to early May, with the heaviest snowfall in January and February. Checking the snow forecast before your trip helps you plan for the best conditions. You'll want to time your visit for peak powder days if you're chasing that perfect run!

2. Book Your Accommodation Early

Hotels near Furano Ski Resort fill up fast, especially during the winter holidays and ski festivals. It's best to book a few months in advance so you can get a spot close to the slopes or near the ski lifts.
