I never expected to see koalas and kangaroos up close like this! The scale and atmosphere were completely different from Japanese zoos; I was so impressed by how freely the animals roamed in nature. There was even an experience where I could hold a koala, and I took so many photos—I'm extremely satisfied. I think it's a worthwhile tourist spot to visit on a trip to Brisbane.

My child absolutely loved it because there were so many koalas and kangaroos. All the staff members are also very kind. You can enter immediately by showing your voucher at the entrance.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was a fun and memorable experience for both kids and adults. The tickets were very easy to use—just scan the barcode at the entrance and you're in. One of the highlights of our visit was feeding and interacting with the kangaroos and lorikeets, which made for some great up-close wildlife encounters. While we didn't get to see many active koalas since most of them were sleeping during our visit, we still enjoyed seeing Australia's iconic animals. The bird show and sheepdog show were entertaining and added variety to the day. The sanctuary is quite large, with plenty of animal encounters, educational exhibits, and activities to keep visitors engaged. Overall, it's a great place to experience Australian wildlife and easily spend several hours exploring.

Scan directly for park entry without needing to exchange tickets. Get up close to koalas and even hand-feed kangaroos!

Our guide, Guy was very knowledgeable about the place and regalled us with interesting stories in a very amusing way. Trip was not rushed and we had plenty of time for photos and looking around. Morning tea at Mt Coot-tha was a nice touch. All in all, a pleasant way to spend half a day in Brisbane. Guy also told us where we could go for the rest of the day and evening and how to get there, which was very helpful.

was just convenient having everything pre booked - however we missed the flying raptor show cos the ferry leaves at 1.30, just take note of that!

Having purchased tickets in advance, our entry was smooth and efficient, which was great. Inside the park, all the staff were friendly, making our visit very pleasant. The kangaroo area was very spacious and open, which was wonderful, but it was a shame we couldn't find where to buy food to interact with them. The sheer number of koalas was impressive, and their cuteness was as expected. A unique highlight was seeing a platypus, and watching it swim was a great experience. The gift shop had a good variety of cute souvenirs, and the park offered high-speed Wi-Fi, making communication easy and allowing us to navigate smoothly using the browser-based map. If I have the chance to visit Brisbane again, I would definitely like to go back.
