The Open-Air Museum is a very interesting museum with a variety of artworks to appreciate. As it's open-air, it'll be best to bring an umbrella for both rain and sun. Definitely allocate as least 2-3 hours when you visit this. It's a great attraction for kids as well as adults.

We learned a lot about Japan in a rather short visit and a condensed visit, which makes us wish to visit again for a longer stay. Thanks for the warm welcome extended by Ikuko and your team. The tour, the meeting arrangement and the departure at the end were so smooth, thank you for this as well. Our group included the grandparents, the daughter, and 3 grandchildren, all enjoyed so much this tour and thanks again to Ikouko for making it happen.

The museum is small and a bit dated, but nonetheless very informative. There are mock up demos and simulator sessions for an extra fee, although they were all in Japanese so I chose not to do them. There's a viewing deck upstairs where you can watch aircraft take off and land at Narita Airport. On the day I went, admission for school age kids (high school and below) was free and some universities, flight academies and tech schools were there for those who might be interested to sign up. For the low price of the ticket, it's a good side trip to kill time while waiting for your late afternoon or evening flight if you're interested in aviation or have some small children.

The room was spacious and the bed was soft and comfortable. Being able to use the airport shuttle service gave us peace of mind, even for early morning flights or bad weather. There are many restaurants within walking distance, so the location felt very convenient. It is also easy to get to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, making it a recommended base for sightseeing. Next time, I'd like to check in early and leisurely stroll around the town of Narita.

It's highly recommended for those with very early morning flights, as the trip from the hotel to the airport only takes about 5 minutes, eliminating the worry of traveling from the city. This is a very good hotel, close to the airport but not noisy. However, you need to bring your own towel for the hot springs, which was a bit unexpected. Overall, the experience was great. Parking is convenient for those driving, with a maximum charge of 300 yen for a 24-hour stay. A free shuttle bus takes guests to the airport and the nearby Narita Station, perfect for those with plenty of time to explore. At Narita Station, you'll find the century-old restaurant Kawatoyo Honten on Omotesando, serving melt-in-your-mouth unagi (eel) rice.
