Miyajima Itsukushima Shrine tours

tour not cheap but worth the cost, the guide was full of anecdotes and stories, the times well calculated and we were able to go to the Daishoin temple in Miyajima. The transportation with the charter bus was very comfortable allowing not to get too tired. the part in Hiroshima treated with the right seriousness. everything very well organized!

Our guide Hiro was very knowledgeable and cooperative (it was raining heavily on the initial part of the tour, so, he made some adjustments in the route accordingly). Places visited are very scenic and this is highly recommended if you are considering a day trip from Hiroshima to Miyajima

Upon booking this tour, we received an email that they have received our request and if there is an available tourist guide, they would contact us to confirm. Our tour guide was Yuji san. He was hands on and he sent us an email early to tell us the itinerary and to ask specific requests as well. We communicated through whatsapp. He was very accommodating. He met us at our hotel and was on time. Then he gave our family a brief overview of where we would go. Since we didnt get JR passes, he paid for our transportation first which we reimbursed later on. He was able to help us enjoy the tour and manage our time well. He ordered our food prior so it was ready once we came to the restaurant. He also knew the best places for photos. He explained the history of the places well and was patient in answering our questions. We got to see the best of both Miyajima and Huroshima. Our tour guide was pleasant, kind, and very humble. This is one of the nicest experiences we have been on thanks to this tour and our tour guide. Overall, I recommend you to book this tour if you are in need of one in Hiroshima and Miyajima. There are many more beautiful experiences but I won’t spoil them so yoh can enjoy it for yourself Thank you especially to Yuji san for an amazing trip.

Kaori, our guide is the best! she reached out a day before and helped us get to the island the best way possible, which saved us so much time. Upan arrival Kaori got us up to the cable cars well ahead of the crowds and continuesly gave us great tips on where to stand and where to go! loved that she kept taking pictures of us and is very knowledgeable about the island and it’s surroundings. Tip 1. If you are staying near Peace Park, take the Heritage Ferry and opt to meet your guide on the island. 2. as with most sights in Japan…Go early! 3. You may want to stay and wander around a little longer after the tour as 4 hours is a little short.

My Husband and I booked this tour as part of our Honeymoon. I am so glad we booked the Private Tour for Hiroshima. Our guide was Aya and we could not have asked for anyone better. She reached out to us once we booked to confirm details and check if there was any sights we were particularly interested in, as well as any dietary requirements. We were happy to take any of Aya’s recommendations for our day tour. From the moment we met her, we could feel her warmth and kindess and we knew we were going to have a great day. It was so special to have a tour with someone born, raised and still living in Hiroshima. Aya was very knowledgeable and always checking in on how we were throughout the day. There is a lot of walking, but it was made easier with Aya poining out lots of interesting facts along the way. She also took us around some spots on Miyajima Island that were less crowded, without missing any of the highlights. I cannot recommend this private tour enough.

This was a great experience. I loved the flexibility of a private tour guide especially because my dad is somewhat disabled. So, it was stress free experience. Kahori was amazing! She’s very knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job guiding us. It felt like she was a cousin showing us around her city.
