The tour was both educational and enjoyable. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out all the highlights of the cave, including the stunning stalactites and stalagmites, as well as unique formations like the Chinese Dragon and the Suspended Table. The tour was informative but unhurried, giving us plenty of time to appreciate the cave’s beauty. After the tour, we spent some extra time exploring the lovely gift shop, which had a range of unique and interesting merchandise. Overall, a highly recommended experience!

Fantastic 5.0
Most rural sightseeing around Perth involves long hours of transportation, and this tour is no exception. The total round-trip travel time is about 6 hours, but the itinerary is well structured, covering several popular highlights such as Margaret River Cave, wine tasting, Busselton Jetty, and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. At each stop, we were given around 30–45 minutes, which felt reasonable for sightseeing and taking photos. The tour guide and driver (the same person) was very organised and engaging, providing informative and amusing commentary throughout the journey. The group experience was also excellent — everyone was polite, punctual, and considerate. Group dynamics matter a lot to me as they can really affect the overall mood, and this group made the day even more enjoyable. The tour starts early with a 7:00am pickup and returns around 9:30pm. It’s a long day, but one filled with beautiful scenery and memorable sights. A good option if you want to see multiple key attractions.

Had a fantastic time on the Margaret River day tour! Our guide, Dani, was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, making the whole day enjoyable and informative. The farm visit with alpaca feeding was a fun and unexpected highlight. We visited three excellent wineries, with generous tastings, each offering something unique, and the entire itinerary was well-planned and relaxed. Lunch at Olio Bello was delicious. Highly recommend this tour for a perfect mix of wine, food, and fun!

Picked up n dropped off at the hotel we stayed near Perth station. itinerary nicely spaced out. at the end of the tour, a tip of 5 bucks is required. ideal group size of abt 15 pax. We enjoyed the tour.

Sean was the best guide. Itinerary was well planned and paced. Each segment of the day was unique and showed Sean’s perspective and love for the region. The private canoeing session (suitable for young and seniors), Fraser Gallop Winery tour (must for wine lovers) and easy and short walk on the cape to cape track (only locals know and can manoeuvre the track) were remarkable and memorable. Thanks Sean, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Mammoth Cave

This massive limestone cave is easy to walk through and full of ancient fossils. It’s one of the most popular underground caves in the region, and the audio guide helps you learn as you explore.

Tips for Visiting Margaret River, Western Australia

1. Plan your days around distance

The Margaret River region is spread out, and attractions can be 20–40 minutes apart. Group places together so you’re not driving back and forth.

2. Book wine tastings and restaurants early

The area has many world-class wineries, but most now require a booking, especially in peak seasons and school holidays. The same goes for popular restaurants and lunch spots in Margaret River town. Booking early helps you avoid long waits and ensures you get your preferred time.

3. Start your mornings at the beaches

Beaches like Hamelin Bay, Yallingup, and Gnarabup are calmer and clearer in the morning. Winds pick up in the afternoon, which can make swimming harder. Visiting earlier also gives you a better chance of seeing stingrays at Hamelin Bay.
