Whale Watching Experience in Dunsborough

Meeting point was easy to find, the crew was awesome from start to end. They helped us with so much fun and even tried their best to be at the correct location to see the whales. Highly recommend this activity whenever you are in Perth at this period of migration. We were so lucky to have 2 young whale playing around us.

Enjoyed the tour throughout, managed to catch the humpback whales and had some upclose views. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Advised to reach early to get a parking lot if driving. Highly recommended!

The activity operator was Naturaliste Charters. Due to weather conditions, the activity location was changed to Augusta. We were on a two-story yacht. The first deck of the boat had indoor seating, but we spent most of our time on the deck watching whales. The captain was very experienced and successfully led us to humpback whales. We traveled alongside the whales for a long time. The guide shared a lot of interesting information about whales throughout the trip. We had plenty of time out at sea. It's a shame we didn't see any Southern Right Whales. Overall, we had a great time! It was a fantastic experience. Also, I want to remind future travelers that the sea can be quite rough, so if you're unsure about motion sickness, be sure to take seasickness medication in advance. Our friends who joined us didn't get seasick when they went dolphin watching before, but they did this time.

manage to spot a pair of mother and calf humpback whales migrating south to antartica. tail end of the whaling season but still fortunate to spot. very informative staff and crew. free snacks and drinks on board.

A highly recommended experience! We went out to sea on a twin-hulled sailboat and saw whales 7-8 times throughout the trip. Although the whales didn't breach, we were still able to observe many details up close. The sea was calm and smooth at the beginning, but the waves got a bit bigger as we went further into the ocean. Thankfully, we were prepared and didn't get seasick. It got colder during the second half of the trip, so you'll need windproof and warm clothing. The crew's explanations were very detailed, and the captain was able to accurately locate the whales and communicate their position to everyone, ensuring that no one missed them. An absolutely fantastic experience!

My son and I got seasick, but we managed to see the whales! I wish we could have seen them a little closer, but that can't be helped.
