This is the third time this month my family and I have used the facilities and received massages. The reception staff are polite and friendly. Some of the Thai masseuses are excellent, but others need further training. Overall, the experience was good, and I hope a particular Thai masseuse can receive additional training.

The spa is quite luxurious with a hot tub with jacuzzi that you can use either before or after the treatment. Then, there is a large room where you can sit down and relax after the treatment and drink some tea, watch some TV etc. Very clean and service is very attentive.

Great service and a very clean environment. This hotel spa is reasonably priced, which is a pleasant surprise. I really appreciated the private shower facility in the room. A special thank you to the staff for being so accommodating; they allowed my young daughter to stay on the bed beside me during my massage so we could be together. It was a wonderful experience for both of us! The facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly, making for a pleasant visit. I'm satisfied that the prices are very reasonable for a hotel massage shop (similar to what you'd pay in Korea). The in-room shower is especially convenient. I went with my daughter, and they were very considerate in allowing her to rest on the bed next to me, which made for a truly comfortable time. I would definitely visit again!

A perfect end to our trip. Altira Spa is one of the best places to relax in Macau. The environment is excellent — quiet, dimly lit and very private. We had a couple’s treatment room with massage beds, a large jacuzzi and steam facilities. The whole space felt calm and well arranged, so it was easy to switch off. The therapists were professional and skilful. The treatment was comfortable and well paced, with no rush. Everything from check-in to the room setup was smoothly arranged. Must-try if you are staying at Altira, especially after a fireworks night. Highly recommended for couples who want a quiet, high-quality spa experience.

This trip is well worth the money. You need to make sure you know the boarding location well; I took the wrong free shuttle, as it departs from the Fisherman's Wharf side. They don't hand out tickets in order of arrival, they give out number tags instead, so arriving a bit late should be fine. The night view is truly amazing, and I also recommend the Parisian Eiffel Tower night viewing. I found myself wondering why I hadn't seen this before leaving Macau; it is money well spent. I got a 10% discount with my membership card, but Klook is affordable too. Have a wonderful trip~~^^

Fantastic 5.0
The House of Dancing Water is a Macao attraction well worth the price of admission. The stage lighting and sound effects are exceptional, and every performer is highly skilled. From the water and underwater acrobatics to high-altitude jumps, there is never a dull moment. There are plenty of ticketing options on Klook, where you can find great prices on early-bird tickets and various package deals. If you catch one of Klook's special promotional events, do not hesitate—use a coupon to place your order right away. During this trip, I happened to catch a coupon promotion and immediately booked front-row seats. If you sit in rows A or B, be prepared to get completely soaked, but you will also get an unbeatable view and great interaction with the performers.

Fantastic 5.0
This time, I took my kids to the Macau Tower in Macau, and the overall experience was excellent! The Macau Tower was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and very patient with the children. After taking the high-speed elevator to the observation deck, we could enjoy panoramic views of Macau city and its surroundings. The kids were very excited to see such high views and kept exploring and taking photos. What impressed the children most was the transparent glass floor. Although they were a little scared at first, they quickly adapted and had a lot of fun, even asking to walk on it a few more times. There was also plenty of space on the observation deck for the whole family to explore at their leisure, so it didn't feel crowded. For families with children, the Macau Tower is a great place that combines education and entertainment, offering beautiful scenery and enriching experiences. It's definitely worth setting aside half a day to visit, whether you're a local resident or a tourist. Next time we visit Macau, we will definitely consider coming back!

teamLab's SuperNature exhibition is located at the westernmost end of The Venetian Macao's West Wing. The Venetian is truly immense, and the effect of this sound, light, and electricity combination exhibition is absolutely spectacular. The teamLab art collective refers to this collection of works as a "body-immersive art museum," divided into over a dozen themes. Walking through and exploring the different themed areas truly allows one to become "lost" within it, constantly needing to orient oneself in the mirrored surfaces to find one's relationship with this three-dimensional, interwoven, and visually deceptive environment. This makes one feel as though they, along with this vast collection of works, form a giant postmodern installation.

What to know before visiting Macau

What to do in Macau throughout the year

Macau is a compact city where Events & shows lead bookings, followed by Tours, Observation decks and Museums, with Water parks popular in warmer months. Klook booking data shows activity surges in April and February and softens toward October, shaping when theatre runs, guided tours and skyline visits are busiest. If you plan shows or museum visits in peak months expect higher demand; if flexibility matters, quieter months let you move plans around more easily. Decide whether you want peak-season atmosphere or quieter browsing — Klook booking data should guide which months you pick.

Best months to visit Macau

April is the clearest peak for demand and October the quietest, according to Klook booking data: April shows +43% demand versus a typical month while October falls −42%. Prices across the year are fairly steady, with the priciest month in August at a typical median of USD 25 and the cheapest in November at USD 22, so demand and price do not always move together — April is busy without being the priciest. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider November or the autumn quieter months; for lively atmosphere and events, target April or February.

Month Demand Level Typical Price
January About average USD 23
February Peak demand USD 24
March Busier than usual USD 22
April Peak demand USD 24
May Busier than usual USD 24
June Busier than usual USD 23
July About average USD 23
August Quieter than usual USD 25
September Quieter than usual USD 25
October Very quiet USD 24
November About average USD 22
December About average USD 24

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Where to stay and what to expect

Hotel prices on Klook vary by district: São Lourenço is the most affordable with a typical nightly rate around USD 81, while Cotai sits at the priciest end with a typical nightly rate around USD 196, a gap of roughly 59% between them per Klook booking data. The lower end suits travellers prioritizing value and simple neighbourhood stays; the higher end appeals to those wanting premium hotels and the features that come with them. Use these typical nightly prices on Klook to match your budget to the experience you want.

Tips for travellers from the United States

Most travellers from the United States book fairly close to travel dates on Klook — typically around 1 day ahead — while the earliest planners book about 9 days out, according to Klook booking data. That means you can be flexible and still find options, but during the April and February peaks it pays to lock things in sooner. Browse Klook listings for event and tour availability, book experiences that sell out earlier on busy dates, and use typical booking patterns to decide when to confirm reservations.
