Ishigaki Water activities

I thought I'd have to give up snorkeling because I left my entire swimsuit bag behind on the day of departure (I didn't want to buy it again, haha). I consulted with the staff and went anyway, even though it wasn't ideal to wear regular clothes, but our staff was so kind and helpful, and they took us to a great spot, so it was fun! The handsome captain, who is fluent in foreign languages and very kind, is the best! I'll come back next time!!!

It was a speechlessly awesome experience! Our guide was very easygoing and spoke great English. The price was very reasonable, but the memories are absolutely priceless. I highly recommend this to anyone who is still hesitant!

During the snorkeling course, they even took into account each individual's skill level! I received extra information about diving. The equipment was clean and having an English-speaking guide available was excellent! It was a great experience to see sea turtles, even from a distance, and to snorkel in the deep sea, which is usually difficult for families to access. On rainy, windy days with rough waves, the underwater visibility can be poor, making it hard to see fish or corals, which can be a bit disappointing. I recommend choosing a clear day during the good season if possible. Thank you very much, Tatchan!

Today’s weather was not good, but our tour guide, Buzz tried his best to teach us how to play canoe and the knowledge about mangroves. The scenery was beautiful, the tour was definitely worth to join. Overall, we enjoyed the experience very much😃

This was a fantastic experience on Ishigaki Island. The location is very close to the city center, making transportation extremely convenient and saving a lot of travel time. While it might not be the most budget-friendly option, the overall service definitely makes up for it. Originally, I planned to try SUP, but because I had too many belongings, I decided last minute to switch to kayaking. It was my first time kayaking, and I was a bit worried, but it turned out to be very stable, and even beginners can easily handle it. I especially want to commend our instructor, Sota. He was incredibly enthusiastic and talkative, patiently and warmly assisting participants throughout the entire experience, which made everyone feel very comfortable. Most importantly, his English communication was perfectly fine, making it very friendly for foreign tourists, so there's no need to worry about communication issues. Paddling through the mangroves felt very peaceful and relaxing, and Sota even proactively helped take photos, capturing this unique experience.

I’m so glad to join this tour today. Yuki isa fantastic tour guide—enthusiastic and attentive to every member of the group. Most importantly, it’s clear how much you love this place. I hope to see you again next time. We have such wonderful memories.

It was truly the best!!!! The staff were incredibly kind, and even though we were the only Koreans among all Japanese guests, we had such a wonderful time! Even with limited Japanese and English, we communicated using a translator, and everyone was so warm and friendly!! I thought we'd just jump into the ocean in our swimsuits for snorkeling, but they even provided wetsuits, so we stayed warm while watching the fish!! They guided us safely until the very end, making our first trip to Ishigaki incredibly happy and memorable!!👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️

This day was really fun and relaxing ! If you’re looking for something chill but you also want to enjoy Snorkeling I recommend. If it’s your first time snorkeling don’t worry cuz the guides will really take care of you and u will be safe! Our guide Akari was the best ! She speaks English and gives you information about Phantom Island and Ishigaki. She also took lots of pictures for us so we have plenty of memories! Thank you Akari and the team!
