【Ishigaki Island/Half-day】Natural Monument Mangrove Forest - Choose SUP/Canoe (Okinawa)

This was a fantastic experience on Ishigaki Island. The location is very close to the city center, making transportation extremely convenient and saving a lot of travel time. While it might not be the most budget-friendly option, the overall service definitely makes up for it. Originally, I planned to try SUP, but because I had too many belongings, I decided last minute to switch to kayaking. It was my first time kayaking, and I was a bit worried, but it turned out to be very stable, and even beginners can easily handle it. I especially want to commend our instructor, Sota. He was incredibly enthusiastic and talkative, patiently and warmly assisting participants throughout the entire experience, which made everyone feel very comfortable. Most importantly, his English communication was perfectly fine, making it very friendly for foreign tourists, so there's no need to worry about communication issues. Paddling through the mangroves felt very peaceful and relaxing, and Sota even proactively helped take photos, capturing this unique experience.

We joined with low expectations and were quite worried because it looked like it might rain. But once we participated, we realized how much we would have missed out on if we hadn't! We were all incredibly satisfied. Our guide, Sota, was so kind and led us with such enthusiasm. Our joy and happiness were doubled. There's no need to worry about the weather; we highly recommend experiencing this if you come to Ishigaki Island. The photos you sent are also wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our overall experience, but we wished it had been a bit longer for the price paid. Our tour guide, Mkaly, was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable. She ensured that we felt included and safe throughout the journey. Additionally, she captured some fantastic photos of us! The scenery was also breathtaking.

We originally booked the pm tour, but it was cancelled due to the incoming typhoon. Luckily, Pipi rescheduled us to the am tour so we were able to join at last. We got the gear and were able to canoe all the way along the beautiful Miyara river. We saw many different animals during the tour, such as the mudskipper and kingfisher, which our friendly guide pointed us to. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend to everyone who is looking for an encounter with nature in Ishigaki.

Thanks to Arai guide, I had a safe and the best mangrove tour experience!! It was my first time canoeing, but he taught me so kindly that I quickly adapted. During the tour, he gave me a lot of information about the mangrove forest, so it was a beneficial and fun time! Arai guide👍 I would like to entrust him with another tour guide if I have the chance next time.

An absolutely amazing experience! The tour guide provided enthusiastic explanations throughout, helped take photos, and even dropped us off at our hotel afterward. The mangrove forest canoe tour with Sota was fantastic. Our family was so satisfied, and it was an unforgettable moment. He took meticulous care of us throughout the tour, and our elementary school-aged daughter was able to enjoy the tour safely. Thank you for taking such great photos as well.
