Actually a great experience with a multilingual guide (Naomi). Timing and guidance was well paced and genuine. The boating activity was excellent and very accessible (and entertaining). There was no end of the day pressuring or "revew begging" from the guides to leave high ratings which really highlighted their professionalism. Thanks for an amazing day.

This was by far the best Klook tour I’ve ever been on! My husband and I absolutely loved our guide, Mr. Joe. He was incredibly kind and provided clear, detailed information about the itinerary, meeting point, and drop-off location. We especially appreciated how he shared interesting history about Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara along the way.
His English was very clear, which made communication easy and enjoyable. We were also lucky enough to ride Cabin No. 5 on the Sagano Romantic Train, and we didn’t miss out on the Hozugawa River boat rafting experience either. It was truly a memorable day! Okani Mr Joe! Hope we meet again!

Our trip was really nice with a very sweet guide eiko san… Romantic train was one of the most romantic experience in kyoto. our chauffer was really sweet and gave us a comfortable ride to all locations. due to rain boat ride was cancelled but she took us around bamboo forest and temple instead of the boat ride due to bad weather. i definitely recommend this trip 💯

Seemless and quick check in. They get you on the boat and provide safety and instruction. Where comfortable clothing that you don’t mid getting a little splash of water on because it may happen. The scenery is breathtaking. You will end up on the other side of the river near shops with food and souvenirs as well as the bamboo forest.

One of the best things we did on our trip!! Everything is provided which is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful! The route is beautiful and the rapids are not so extreme. If you're thinking about booking, I would highly highly reccommend it!!

We booked 2 rooms wanteI This was the closest hotel to the Hozugawa River boat ride. It was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. There is a peaceful onsen on site, but you must cover your tattoos. You can purchase tattoo covers at the desk . Be aware that they really stick and it takes a lot of time to remove the stickers. The day of our boat ride, we checked out of the hotel, & we asked if they could watch our bags at the desk while we did the boat ride. They gave us a chip to come back that same day to retrieve our bags for free . After our boat ride we took the train back to the hotel to retrieve our bags. The staff was professional and kind. The only comment that I’d give a head up on is that the beds are small. I had to get 2 rooms for my family of 4 and we all had to share beds. My family is not very big and we were fine and slept really well. But if you were a larger person, sharing a bed, it might be kind of snug. I would still rebook at this hotel in a heartbeat. 10/10
