Fantastic 5.0
Had an absolute ball. super friendly staff, safety was excellent with hand rail getting into boat and comfortable seating. Fun captain and music made it super enjoyable and some brief history in various languages. well thought out quick 20 minute tour but worth it for the experience and photos.

Fantastic 5.0
While preparing for this trip to Osaka, Japan, I used Klook to book my Universal Studios Japan admission tickets. It was convenient to book in advance, and it saved me the hassle of having to buy tickets on-site. I especially liked that I could check my booking details and QR code via the mobile voucher. It was very convenient during the trip, as I could easily use my phone without needing to print out or keep track of a paper ticket. Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan was what I was looking forward to the most on this trip, and choosing a package that included guaranteed entry helped a lot with planning my schedule. Since popular theme parks have many visitors and long wait times, I definitely felt that preparing admission tickets in advance is the way to go. The booking process wasn't difficult either, and since I could check the necessary information in the app, I think it's a very useful service for people preparing for overseas travel. Another advantage is being able to compare various sightseeing products and transportation options along with admission tickets. I traveled alone to Japan this time, and as I was planning my itinerary myself, the preparation process was much smoother thanks to Klook. Overall, I was satisfied because booking and using the service was convenient, and I plan to use it again if I travel to Japan or another country in the future. If you are planning an overseas trip, I recommend comparing options and booking in advance!

Price: Very good. Experience: The best, it gets you up and down very quickly. There were too many people there; with the Express Pass I was able to make it for the sunset, otherwise I wouldn't have stood a chance 😅

Visited on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. We didn't do an open-run (arrive before opening), and it wasn't too crowded, so it was fine. It seems best to go straight to the innermost Donkey Kong ride first and work your way back toward the entrance. Excluding timed-entry tickets, the wait times were roughly 40 minutes to an hour. The Flying Dinosaur had a really long wait time; they said it would be 1 hour, but it felt like it took over an hour longer. The other rides were faster than expected. If you don't necessarily need to ride together, the Dinosaur ride offers a single-rider line, so you should aim for that. Donkey Kong was a bit too boring for my 4th-grade son who likes thrilling rides, but the Dinosaur ride was genuinely scary. Donkey Kong seems great for young kids in the lower elementary grades, while Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and the Dinosaur ride are better for adults or kids who like scary rides. Even though we only had 4 timed-entry tickets, we managed to ride almost all the popular attractions because it was a weekday (Wednesday) with fewer crowds. The lines move quickly, so you don't really need a folding chair. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays probably don't require timed-entry tickets, but weekends and holidays definitely seem to need them. Also, Google Maps is better at finding directions than the Universal app, so using Google Maps to navigate to your destinations will get you there faster. The Universal app is very useful for checking show times and wait times, so make sure to download it. For those who bought tickets in Korea, please note that you must print out the timed-entry tickets (Q-Pass) on paper in order to use them. Have a great trip!

It’s super convenient and easy to use this Amazing Pass. You can just enter so many attractions and metros only using this. Please make sure you are connected to the internet to use the barcode that will always be refreshed within 1 minute.

Fantastic 5.0
Abeno Harukas Observatory is a must-visit viewpoint in Osaka. Its impressive height offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire city, providing an incredibly open vista. On clear days, you can see for miles, and both daytime and nighttime views have their unique charm, with the night view being particularly stunning as the city lights create a spectacular sea of illumination. The observatory boasts a spacious layout with glass designs that ensure an unobstructed view, making it excellent for photography. It never feels cramped, allowing visitors to stroll and admire the scenery at their leisure. There's also a cafe and seating areas inside, where you can relax and enjoy the high-altitude views. Compared to other observatories, Harukas stands out for its height and superior comfort. Crowd control is also managed quite well, contributing to a very pleasant overall experience. While the ticket price might not be the cheapest, it is definitely worth it. Overall, it's a highly recommended attraction. If you want to see the most beautiful panoramic views of Osaka, this place will certainly not disappoint!

This is well worth it. Beleive me it was a hot day and last thing is having to line up and wait in a massive Queue. This place gets packed. Great thing if u book/make a reservation you skip these lines. It was a great experience they even had spray machines for you on way up to cool yourself down. They also have souvenir shops inside the castle to buy memorabilia. Its quite a massive space to explore and you get a good glimpse of history and the area is just magnificent to be in. You can also pay for boat trip down the river & other excursions. Wonderful experience.

The ferris wheel is a really fun way to take in city views! Located inside the Hep Five building on the 7th floor. We visited as a couple, usually its x4 people to a capsule but as it wasn't super busy they let us in as a pair in our own capsule which was nice!

This is a very worthwhile pass. I bought it during a 50% off promotion. You can choose 3 attractions to visit, or shopping/restaurant discount coupons. I used mine for 1 attraction and 2 shopping discount coupons. The total regular price of these three items was more than double the cost of the pass I purchased. It's also very convenient to use; just scan the QR code to enter the attractions, no need to queue up again to exchange for tickets.

What to know before visiting Osaka

What to expect from Osaka’s top experiences

Osaka’s things to do are dominated by theme parks and attraction passes, followed by observation decks, historical sites and museums. Demand rises and falls through the year, peaking around April and dipping in January, so the busiest windows concentrate in spring.

Best activities for families, couples and solo travellers

Families will find theme parks and attraction passes the natural fit—these offer broad, easy-to-access entertainment that suits kids and mixed-age groups. Couples often gravitate to observation decks and historical sites for more relaxed, scenic or cultural experiences. Solo travellers and small groups can pick from museums, observation decks and historical sites for flexible, lower-cost options that are easy to slot into a changing itinerary.

What travellers from the United States should book in advance

If you’re travelling from the United States, plan ahead: visitors tend to book around eleven days before travel on average, with the earliest planners reserving roughly a month in advance, and that matters most in the April peak. For flexibility, many activities can still be booked a day or two out, but during April it’s smarter to lock in popular experiences earlier.

How the main categories compare on price and appeal

Historical sites represent the entry-level option and are the easiest way in for budget-conscious visitors, while theme parks sit at the priciest end and also offer the widest range of price points and experiences. Attraction passes and museums occupy mid-range territory, appealing to travellers who want convenience or cultural depth without the premium cost of major parks. Observation decks are among the lower-cost choices and suit visitors seeking views and a concise city highlight.
