Fantastic 5.0
Participation date: October 29, 2025. Due to the snowfall the day before, we couldn't visit Hoheikyo Gorge, which was a little disappointing, but we got to see the autumn leaves in the snow at Jozankei. Because the time spent at each attraction is limited, it's recommended to bring your own lunch or buy it at a convenience store and enjoy it by Lake Toya to have more time to enjoy the scenery. Be sure to check the Usuzan Ropeway schedule, as it's the most rushed attraction on the itinerary. I was lucky to meet punctual and friendly group members, and I thank tour guide Zhou and the driver for making the trip go smoothly. Overall, it's a very convenient option for independent travelers. (Note: Seats on the right side of the bus offer a chance to see Mt. Yotei up close on the return trip.)

Great 4.0
This was my first time booking a one-day tour with Klook, and overall, the itinerary was completed smoothly, and we visited several spots.
Our group only had 4 people. The official website stated that 6 people were required for the tour to proceed, so it was a pleasant surprise that it still departed. That's a big plus.
Hōheikyō Gorge
This stop was closed, so we couldn't visit it, which was a bit of a shame.
Jozankei Onsen
We visited quite early in the season, so most of the trees were bare, and the cherry blossoms hadn't bloomed yet. The scenery was a bit ordinary. The overall feeling was somewhat similar to the hot spring areas like Guguan in Taichung.
However, the footbath area was quite nice, clean, and comfortable, offering a good spot to relax. If you didn't bring a towel, there's a vending machine (300 JPY) available to purchase one.
There's a good apple pie shop nearby (pictured), within walking distance, which was a small highlight.
Lake Toya
This was probably the most worthwhile place on the trip. The lake view is beautiful, and you can also see Mount Yotei. Walking along the lakeside was very pleasant.
However, the stopover time wasn't very long, so it would be a bit rushed if you also wanted to take a boat ride.
Food options were also limited. We ended up buying convenience store items and eating them by the lake, which was actually quite enjoyable.
Showa Shinzan
This part felt more like a typical tourist group destination. Showa Shinzan itself isn't very large and can be explored quickly, with most of the surrounding shops selling souvenirs.
The view from the Usuzan Ropeway was decent, but if you're looking for scenic views, I'd recommend taking the Sapporo Mt. Moiwa Ropeway instead.
The Bear Ranch felt more like a standard tourist attraction, and personally, I didn't find it very appealing. Overall, it was just a walk-around, look-around kind of activity.
Meisui Park
We were originally supposed to visit "Fukidashi Park" at the foot of Mount Yotei, but on the day, we were actually taken to "Meisui Fureai Park" in Chitose (pictured).
Initially, I was a bit taken aback because the location was different from what I expected. However, since the distance was too far to change back, this part of the itinerary ended early, which somewhat affected the overall experience.
I booked this tour because I wanted to see Mount Yotei and Lake Toya, and since the distance was quite far and I'm not very comfortable driving, I chose a one-day tour.
Overall, the itinerary seemed to include many stops, and we did visit quite a few places, but the actual experience felt a bit rushed. The time spent at each location wasn't very long, and some places felt more like a "been there, done that" kind of visit.
If you want to casually see a few sights and avoid planning your own transportation, this type of tour is quite convenient. However, if you have specific expectations for certain attractions, I would recommend arranging them separately for a better experience.

Fantastic 5.0
long tour but so so worth it. we went to all places on peak of autumn and so all trees are all amazingly colorful. the best part for me was the visit in Hoheikyo dam as it was so serene and relaxing. the visit in the bear farm was also memorable, likewise the drive to Lake Toya. the only hassle we experienced was when we chose to buy lunch from seicomart in Lake Toya and ate by the lake. it was freezing! overall, my husband and i had so much fun. thanks to Zhou our tour guide who ensured everyone is well taken care of and very accommodating. he speaks good english too! i would recommend this tour.

Fantastic 5.0
Well designed trip, suits for people who want enjoy sapporo surrounding views without driving own car. Our tour guide is Zhou Zheng, he is very helpful and knowledgeable about sapporo, nice to everyone. He speaks Japanese, Mandarin and English, gives us useful advice during trip. We had best scallops fry rice set on Lake Toya hot Spring street (see pictures). The ice-cream at Bear Farm is delicious. We will definitely book Klook again for other trips!

Fantastic 5.0
It was a really great trip. Although I didn’t see any maple leaves, Toyohira Gorge was still very charming. The mountain scenery and beautiful lake surface of Lake Toya under the sunshine really moved me. The best thing about this trip is our tour guide Jia Jia, who is proficient in Mandarin, English, Cantonese and other languages. He is a very enthusiastic person with a warm and cheerful personality. He explains in detail all the scenic spots along the way. The driver drove steadily and made the ride safe and comfortable. All in all it was a wonderful trip and highly recommended. Jiajia's trilingual translator was clear and detailed, took good care of us, and helped us get a discount on the last day of the Maple Red Holiday, so that we had a great time.

Fantastic 5.0
This was a small group tour with only about a dozen people, and our beautiful guide, Ms. Arctic Cherry, was with us the entire time. Her dedication is truly trustworthy. She introduced all the scenic spots on the itinerary in Chinese, English, and Japanese – Lake Toya, Hoheikyo, Showa Shinzan, the Bear Park, the spring water at Meisui Park. She even recommended local specialty products unique to each place. She is truly beautiful inside and out. I hope this isn't a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I look forward to setting off again to different Hokkaido attractions next time.

Great 4.0
We covered a lot of ground in one day, but the time spent at each location was very limited. If you want to take the ropeway up to see Showa Shinzan, I suggest choosing another day trip that allows more time. We only had 45 minutes, rushed to buy tickets (¥2000 per person), rode the ropeway up, and then immediately had to come back down! It felt like a waste of money… an extra 15 minutes would have been nice! The tour guide was great, and the scenery was beautiful (in autumn). One other thing: the meeting time on the Klook itinerary and the email confirmation were different! Klook said 8 am, but the email we received the day before said 8:10 am. Even though we boarded at 8 am sharp, it felt like we were late… I hope Klook can confirm and unify the timing.

Fantastic 5.0
A very nice trip! Each attraction has its own unique features. Although I didn't see any red maple leaves, the unexpected snow scene was even more exciting. The tour guide, Hanna, gave a detailed introduction, was friendly, and was fluent in English and Japanese. She also helped me book a restaurant and gave me ordering recommendations. I must give her 100 points!
