Hokkaido Great Buddha + Jozankei + Hokkaido Shrine Day Trip from Sapporo

Vivi was an excellent tour guide. She was very patient in describing each site and even provided additional information about the general area we were in. Wished we had more time at the Hill of the Buddha but overall it was a worthwhile tour.

We had an absolutely amazing day. The sights and places we were taken to were fantastic. We are in our 60s and it was sn easy day. The temples, shirts, statutes and food locations were fantastic. A special mention to Vivi, our guide, who ran the day like clock work and was very pleasant. NOTE: The cost of the tour doesn't include entry to sites but for the price I did not expect that.

I recommend joining this tour since the spots are far from each other, and commuting to these areas can be quite challenging. The time allotted for each stop was sufficient, though I wish we had more time at the Sapporo Beer Museum lol. We saved on commuting costs and time, and most of all, we had one of the best guides, Alex. He was eloquent and very accommodating with our questions.

We had a wonderful experience on our Klook tour, and a big part of that was thanks to our tour guide, Oscar. He was very knowledgeable, funny and shared helpful and interesting information throughout the trip, which made each stop more meaningful. Oscar was also extremely punctual and organized. He made sure everything ran smoothly and kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed. We really appreciated how he consistently reminded us of the time and ensured that everyone was present before moving to the next destination. On top of that, he was friendly, approachable, and always willing to assist whenever we had questions. His professionalism and positive attitude truly enhanced our overall experience. Highly recommended—thank you, Oscar, for making our tour enjoyable and stress-free!

Thomas is amazing! he’s so accommodating and approachable. he’s transitioning from English to Chinese language to Japanese language. the trip was amazing and so the driver. he’s so smooth and I feel safe during the ride.

Our tour guide, Mandy, was absolutely wonderful. She is experienced, knowledgeable, and has such a great sense of humor that made the entire day even more enjoyable. I really appreciated how truthful and transparent she was, and most importantly, how much she prioritized everyone’s safety throughout the tour. We visited six different places, and Mandy did an amazing job explaining each location in detail. I loved how she shared historical facts and interesting stories while we were traveling to the next sight — it made the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. The tour was definitely worth the money, especially since many of the sights are quite far apart. If you don’t have a car or don’t want to spend a lot on taxis, this tour is a perfect option. I highly recommend it, and Mandy truly made the experience unforgettable!
