Otaru Art Base Stained Glass Museum
The stained glass pieces that are owned by the Stained Glass Museum (Former Takahashi Warehouse) , inside the Otaru Art Base, were crafted in England between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and were actually part of the window fixtures in churches. In recent years, many of the churches have been torn down due to various circumstances, but these beautiful pieces of art were spared, and through an unusual twist of fate ended up in Japan. Some of the stained glass is inscribed with words and pictures that tell the history from the flourishing reign of Queen Victoria, through the Edwardian Period, and into the era after the First World War. We hope you will take the time to visit our museum and view the beautiful pieces of art which are displayed under soft lighting.

very easy to claim ticket and a very beautiful small museum. just show your voucher to the staff by the counter. Photos are allowed but videos are not. it depends on one's interests but as someone who has rarely seen stained glasses before we had a great time enjoying the small museum
I enjoyed the stained glass; the paintings were exquisitely crafted. The stained glass extends to the third floor.
Otaru is really a place that requires a whole day to enjoy the atmosphere, indoor attractions, and outdoor scenery. You need to step slowly to feel the local colors. The Glass Art Museum is very beautiful and adds a lot of color to the trip.
this entry ticket is definitely worth a trip there. you get to see all the beautiful stained glass design. do note that the place only open at 10am. And there are 2 levels to see them.
The accessible area inside isn't very large, featuring restrooms, lockers, and a gift shop. There are two floors to explore. Next to it, there's a staircase leading to the restaurant. It's worth a look if you have the time.
It is very convenient to buy and use immediately. The exhibits in the Glass Art Museum are about Bible stories. They are very beautiful. There are not many exhibits, but they are beautiful.
nice museum with different religious images in stained glass. would probably more enjoyable for devout catholics
The show QR code can be exchanged immediately and you can take photos in the exhibition hall. There are many stories about Jesus in the exhibition hall. It can be completed in 15-20 minutes.
an excellent place and worth for visitiing. U can't imagine there are a lot of amazing and historical stained windows displayed at this small museum
The place is not big but the exhibits are beautiful. Even if you are not a believer, you can appreciate the painting skills and detailed composition. It is very convenient to use Klook to buy tickets instantly.
