This trip first takes us to Qimei, then to Wang'an. Upon arrival at each island, you can choose between group activities (by bus) or independent exploration (by scooter) to experience the local culture and scenery. Qimei Island boasts many famous reefs and stone weirs, such as Little Taiwan and the Twin-Hearts Stone Weir. You'll also see numerous sheep grazing by the roadside. Notably, the island features Nanyu City, a fortress entirely built from basalt, which you can visit. Wang'an, on the other hand, is renowned for its distinctive architecture and ecology, primarily the Huazhai settlement, the Green Sea Turtle Conservation Center, and the beautiful Wang'ankou Beach, all perfect for a leisurely stroll, taking photos, and checking in.

If you have never been there, it is recommended to hop on two islands. The stay time on Qimei Island and Wangan Island is a bit short, about 1.5 hours each. It is recommended to do your homework in advance, rent a motorcycle to go directly to the place you want to see, and return to the port 10 minutes in advance to return the motorcycle and board the ship. If you choose to take a tour bus, you can only go to a few major attractions. I have met some guided tours, and the quality of their explanations was very good.

Itinerary: Although taking a tour bus offers less flexibility, we still visited the main attractions in Qimei and Wang'an, and had plenty of time for photos and sightseeing. For travelers who prefer not to ride scooters in the sun, this is a great option!

The weather was really hot, but luckily we chose a tour bus. The driver was very professional. In addition to introducing the scenery along the way, he also calculated the duration of the stay just right so we didn't feel rushed.

First time trying the 2-island tour! Riding a scooter on the islands is truly relaxing 👍. It's recommended to take motion sickness medicine 30-40 minutes before boarding and avoid eating breakfast. We bought ours on the main island and enjoyed it in Cimei. You can also choose to sit at the back of the boat! The time spent on the 2 islands is approximately 1.5-2 hours, so it's also recommended to plan in advance which attractions you definitely want to visit and photograph. If you have time, then ride to the secondary attractions. Also, pay attention to riding safety!

Both Cimei and Wang-an islands offer scooters for touring and taking photos around the island. The time for each island is tight at under 2 hours. The boat ride to either island is 70 minutes one way, and many people get seasick and vomit if the waves are high. The return boat trip from either island is about 30 minutes.

The tour guide on the Qimei tour bus was excellent. The stopover time in Wang'an was a bit short; deducting meal and boarding times, there was less than an hour. We only visited two attractions. I heard it was due to the typhoon, but other itineraries had longer stopovers.
