Penghu Jibei Island Full-Day Cultural Exploration Tour

The itinerary was packed with activities, and it was a rare experience to pass under the cross-sea bridge and see the whirlpools up close! The cruise around the northern islands, seeing the Blue Cave, and watching the terns were all very interesting, and Mudouyu Island was incredibly beautiful! The beach at Jibei was lovely, the ice cream was delicious, and the restaurants and shops were all very friendly. Our tour guide enthusiastically shared information throughout the trip and helped everyone take great photos. The captain and crew provided aerial views that we wouldn't have seen otherwise, creating wonderful memories of our journey.

I've always wanted to visit Mudouyu and Penghu's North Sea. When I saw this tour on Klook, I booked it right away. My family was very satisfied with the trip. Our guide, Allen, provided detailed commentary on the various small islands along the way, making the journey enjoyable and informative, helping us learn more about the geography and stories of Penghu's North Sea. For the island hopping tour in the north, we first went to take pictures under the sea-crossing bridge, then went to Tiezuan Island to see seabirds, and then went to Jibeiden Island. Although we had been there before, we still went to Shawei Beach to ride the waves. There are shells on the island. There are many restaurants in Bing, and there is also a supermarket (FamilyMart). We will go there at noon, take a break and go to Moudou Island to see the lighthouse. In the afternoon, we will go to Gupo Island to walk around the island. There are also seagulls. The sun is very strong, so be sure to wear sun protection!

This trip was quite fulfilling, from the tern colony and blue hole on Tiezhen Island, to the ecological tour of Gupo Island, and later the introduction and landing on Mudou Island and Jibei Island, as well as the additional strategy provided by tour guide Xiao Lu, I got to know the big and small things about Penghu Inland Sea and the northern waters throughout the trip. It was a worthwhile trip.

At first I was just looking for a short trip to Jibei Shawei Beach and then back to Magong City. Unexpectedly, I found this Jibei island hopping trip on Klook that departs from the entrance of Pengcheng Hotel and the Nanhai Visitor Center. You can observe the swallows at a very close distance. I saw a flock of gulls, went to the island to take pictures of the lighthouse, and took photos with the cross-sea bridge on the sea. All the arrangements were really surprising. When we landed in Jibei Island, because the weather was not very good that day, we were unable to see the great view of Shawei Beach, so we had to go there next time. It took almost an hour and a half from the time we boarded the boat in the morning to the time we disembarked at Mudou Island. For those of us who love boating, we really made a profit. Sitting on the bow of the boat, there were frequent big waves for a certain period of the voyage. It was a rare experience of riding the wind and waves. Island hopping in the North Sea is really fun, and I like feeding terns, but the shuttle bus was changed to riding a motorcycle later. The white sand of Jibei Island is super beautiful, and the tour guide is okay, but I don’t know if the weather is too hot. You can see the first and second generation bridges feeding seagulls and blue holes are all good! It's a pity that due to the impact of the typhoon, Jibei can't do water activities. Cycling around the island is also a good experience😁

We took pictures of different cross-sea bridges from the sea, passed Gunkanjima, Gupoyu and other small islands, and then arrived at Mudouyu. It is really beautiful here.
