Finally squeezed out some time for a weekday breakfast, Made a special trip to eat, and had to walk ten minutes after getting off the Taoyuan Metro (behind Gloria Outlets). If the connecting passage in Gloria Outlets is closed, you'll have to spend some time finding your way. There are eight food stations, offering Chinese, vegetarian, and Western options. The tastiest items were the cold dishes/salads/braised pork belly for gua bao/freshly made pancakes/roasted pumpkin/omelets/roasted ham/various European breads/Danish pastries. Other dishes were either too bland (like sesame oil monkey head mushrooms) or too salty (like breakfast sausage). The food wasn't generally kept hot enough, but thankfully the freshly blanched vegetables/noodles/plain congee/hot soy milk/miso soup were relatively hot. I think improving the food temperature would be good. The most unique items were the blue cheese, avocado salad, and honey + lettuce, which are rarely seen at other hotel breakfasts. P.S. The busser and the staff who helped deliver food were outstanding.
