Bunun Tribe
The Bunun traditional rituals depict the past lifestyle of the Bunun people, where men hunted in the mountains and women wove at home. Among the rituals, the eight-part harmony is the most famous. The eight-part harmony performed is called "pasibutbut" in the Bunun language, which is a heaven-worshipping ceremony performed to pray for a bountiful millet harvest. Without a conductor or sheet music, the overtone and chromatic singing is breathtaking. In addition to the rituals, there are also several Bunun children's songs and original compositions, as well as simple aboriginal dance exchange teachings, allowing visitors not only to hear and see, but also to experience Bunun culture.
