After going through the tunnel, you will be mesmerized by the beautiful view of the autumn leaves.
Hoheikyo Dam is an arch-type concrete dam with a height of 102.5m that has been selected as one of the "100 Selected Water Source Forests in Japan" and "100 Selected Dam Lakes in Japan".
Other than the Oku Niikappu Dam, this is the only place in Hokkaido to see an arch-type concrete dam.
